visited here today whilst staying elsewhere in the area. It was so very sad to see the place empty and deserted, and a skip in the parking area. The hotel and pub are now closed, due for demolition, and as I understand, to be developed into a housing site. 
We had some fab holidays here, and are truly saddened to say goodbye. 

I hope the staff have all gone on to bigger and better things!

Such a sad goodbye

We stayed for one night as we were meant to be travelling to Athens from Manchester but that unfortunately got called off due to COVID-19.

Up on arrival to the Hotel, it looked quite cute, definitely one of the older Premier Inn's but I wasn't going to let that bother us. Frank checked us in, he was great, really pleasant and professional.

My main issues was the standard of cleanliness in the bedroom, we stayed in room 211, the room is in a desperate need of a refurb and that's no ones fault but dirtiness is unacceptable.

The bathroom was filthy and all around the wardrobe area had cobwebs that indicate that they haven't been dusted or cleaned in months, very bad. 

Around the Hotel, there's a lot of peeling paint all over the place and even blocked drains, and the fag butts in the ashtray on the smoking area look like that hasn't been emptied in months either. This is not what I would except from a Premier Inn.

Overall, they have lovely staff here and it's a shame to put them in a Hotel that is clearly not up to standard.

A really tired Hotel, excellent staff

We  go to the Swan on a regular basis,our favourite for a good reasonable meal. The staff are lovely and very good at looking after you. The food is good quality and always served very quickly, hot anf fresh.

Fantastic experience

This hotel and restaurant is a favourite of ours if we just need a bit of "time out". We only live 8 miles away! It's excellent for a visit to Tatton Park or a visit into Knutsford. 
Listen, accept this. This hotel is in need of a refurb but it is always clean and the staff are always friendly. Also, you can always guarantee a very good room only rate!
Add to this the The Swan Pub and restaurant and we are ticking all the boxes. The menu is very good with good prices. The staff are always very attentive and friendly. Kerry and Denise were the two names that stood out during our last visit. They always had a smile on their faces and showed a genuine interest in you and your dining experience. The drinks prices are also good. It makes a nice change to visit a restaurant that doesn't take the "rise" out of you with wine prices. A bottle of nice Merlot cost me £12.49. 
So thank you again Bucklow Hill.

Lovely food, staff and location.

My wife and a couple of friends stayed 1 night for a wedding. Rooms were clean and tidy just what you’d expect. The staff were all friendly especially Denise in the restaurant couldn’t do enough for us. Excellent value for money

This has become a regular breakfast spot for us. Breakfast is pretty special. Staff lovely, food hot and good portions. Sausages are amazing! Good parking and a good buffet breakfast including coffee or tea and a full English for £9.50.

Breakfast Visit

Great place to stay for an early morning appointment at Manchester Metro. After a 5 hour drive it was great to arrive a at my room which proved to be clean, warm and with a super comfy bed. Food in the past here has been great, but lacked the time on this visit to eat.

Manchester Uni

Great location, great staff and surrounded by beautiful countryside. if you're looking for somewhere with easy access to the surrounding areas without the hustle & bustle of a busy city this is a great place to stay.

Lovely place

We had requested a quiet room at the back of the Premier Inn but were shocked when we got there with how old looking this room was, not modern at all. The room was far too small for us for two nights and had a shower as well which we did not like as we wanted a bath. Asked to move to a bigger room with a bath and was told the only one was on the ground floor which we did not want right by the car park which did disturb us in the morning. Had to reluctantly accept this as there was no other room available with a bath. This room looked like it had not been updated since it first opened probably about 25 to 30 years ago. We were glad we were only here two nights as this is not the usual standard kind of room we were used to in Premier Inn.

Short stay at Premier Inn Knutsford (Bucklow Hill)

Poor heating. Dreadful bed. Poor service. Not worth one star. No sleep. No refund offered. Room in bad state of repair. No coffee in the room. Asked for decaf and told there is no decaf on site at all. Told by a staff member that the site is due for closure quell surprise
