I’ve non idea whether this is actually called the travel lodge as I drove around up and down each side of the motorway for 40 minutes and could not find it. I ended up going to Days Inn

Absolutely impossible to find!

Having previously had a bad experience with trucks revving up during the night outside our window, we were delighted that Julie had already arranged for us to have a room on the quiet side of the building. I asked for a hairdryer which was promptly supplied, and when we asked for a second armchair in our room she appeared with one within minutes. Aways cheerful and helpful. The staff here are always really good. We always choose this Travelodge when travelling between Scotland and England.

Excellent - but since my return a parking fine has arrived for the time I spent at Moto Services, Knutsford.  This is despite my vehicle details being entered into the system by reception staff ! Now I await the result of my appeal !!!

The visit and stay were very comfortable and staff were obliging

Stay here only if you have ear plugs or deaf, there is access of site without needing to go back on motorway

Noisy night travelogue m6

Staff were nice, hotel room was ok, bed ok and TV was good. Thought it was a bit mean to only give guests 30mins free wifi - it's a hotel at a service station so internet helps to wind down a bit. Very basic but did the job.

OK option

Stayed here as we had an earlyish flight from Manchester Airport and it's only a short drive to JetParks from here. 

Stupidly we didn't follow the instructions for getting to the hotel from our side of the motorway so we went up to the next junction and tracked back - you can actually get there from the services on the other side.

We had to wait a little while to check in as the receptionist wasn't available (there was a number to call which the people in front of us had done).

When you check in you have to record your vehicle reg on the tablet in reception - originally we put in the following date as our check out date but apparently this would mean it ran out at 00:01 so the receptionist advised us to use the day after.   We managed to get one of the spaces directly outside the hotel, but the entrance is through the services at the back right so it was still a little walk.

Room was as expected, was a bit concerned as it was directly above the HGVs that had parked up for the night but the sound proofing was pretty good and didn't really hear anything.

One of the plug sockets nearest the TV didn't seem to work so I'd put my phone on charge over night and the next morning it was still low on battery; not ideal as we were leaving pretty much after we'd woke up.

Other than that no issues at all for the price paid.



Handy for Manchester airport

Clean, fresh smelling tidy room. Friendly staff and fast check in/out. Will definitely staff again. Only downside was a little noisy outside with traffic but settled through the night so didn’t effect sleep. 

Well worth the money

Knutsford is well placed for Manchester airport and access to M6 motorway make it a great location. The absence of a cooked breakfast facility is an issue but for one night I can live with that. Overall staff, car parking and room satisfactory.

Family visit in UK

Great place for a quiet overnight stay travelling from South of England to Scotland. Have stayed many times and never disappointed with cleanliness and comfort of rooms. This time Shirley at reception was so kind and welcoming it added a plus to our stay.

Good overnight stop on M6

Booked here as a pit stop for a function.  Rooms basic, a good size but tired & in need of an update & more electrical sockets.  Had issue with bathroom light but that was sorted the same day. The lovely lady in maintenance offered to move our room but time wasn’t on our side.   
One thing I will say it’s great if you stay in winter as rooms are so incredibly hot it’s like a day in Spain.  Yes there was a fan but I doubt it would of made a dent in the heat
