Stopped by for a Sunday lunch.

The food was mediocre at best.   The lattes....great.

Tables are well spaced out making for a comfortable meal.  Staff are very polite

Canoe on ceiling in one of the dining areas was a talking point for a while.

Pleasant enough.

We enjoyed our stay.
Room albeit a bit on the small side, was very clean.  It could have done with somewhere more convenient to put makeup on as the mirror provided on the mantle is very low. 
We also were only provided with half a roll of toilet paper, but when requested more, was quickly remedied. 
All in all, a good stay.  We'll definitely be back.
Lovely old building with lots of character.
Hopefully by the time we return, they'll be serving meals again!

Room clean

Although the bar isn’t anything to write home about, the room I stayed in, with four poster bed and leaded windows, was absolutely incredible and brilliant value for money.

I was shown up by a very friendly and cheerful lady, and once there had everything I needed. The rooms feel very much a separate world from the bar, but I cannot praise the place highly enough. Thank you.

Outstanding room

Very comfortable, clean, very friendly, great value for money, definitely recommend this inn.
Thankyou to the staff, couldn't have been friendlier, beautiful old building. Will definitely be back as I have family here 🤗

After booking this B&B we were informed that there would be no breakfast due to there not being a chef. We booked this hotel because of the reviews for the dining so we could also have our evening meal. We were informed at a later date that didn’t allow us the opportunity to book elsewhere. They gave us details of places to eat which we used and would recommend Vera’s kitchen was excellent and we wished we had managed to book to stay there. The new inn for our evening meal was good though my dessert was disappointing We returned to have a drink at the swan to find it deserted on a Saturday night not a soul was in there so we returned to our room. The room was basic with tea and coffee provided but no toiletries and I’m not sure if there was a hair dryer so you might need to bring your own. I think the place might have been good at one time but has sadly declined in recent times

Very disappointing

Nice refurbishment and pleasant room but no dinner or breakfast. Which made it an expensive visit. 

Breakfast at nearby Vera’s was brilliant. But buying breakfast out adds another £ 30-40 to the b&b bill

No breakfast or dinner

We stayed here this weekend and were overly pleased. We stayed in the Radnor room, it was stunning and cosy. The king size four poster bed was very comfortable. Plenty of storage space for clothes. Lovely seating area next to an decorative open fire. Large tv and a cute window seat. The shower was great, there was a free standing bath so I took advantage and had a lovely bubble bath. Location is great for visiting various places around the Cotswolds. The bar area is cosy next to the open fire which was much welcomed after a day out walking in the different villages. The landlady and staff were very friendly and gave advice on local places when asked. The locals were also friendly and the pub and hotel welcome dogs, we had met a couple of friendly dogs whilst having a drink which was great! There are a few parking spaces at the rear which are free for the customers and guests. We would definitely recommend a stay here and if visiting the Cotswolds again we would definitely return to stay here.

Hidden gem!

A very old building which has been restored sympathetically, it has private parking at the rear and is located centrally with only a short walk to the river Thames.  The hotel is a little quirky, but interesting, our room was very nice, clean and comfortable with a good size bathroom. A warning to people bad on their feet - the wooden stairs are steep.  We found the staff at this hotel very friendly and helpful.  Dinners in the bar are basic but enjoyable, however the website showed breakfast was included but in reality was not, and cost an additional £9 (or so) per person which we did opt for, no complaints about the quality of the breakfasts.  In summary, would we stay again? - most certainly!

A three night stay.

Stayed here on our Thames Path Walk.  Staff very welcoming and the room was OK – bath, tea and coffee etc.  Only a single bar of soap in the bathroom which was a bit unusual.  Didn’t eat here as the dinner menu was basic pub food and there were other places in Lechlade to eat.  Also didn’t have breakfast -  £9.50 each which is expensive when we only want to eat light when walking.

OK Stay

Stayed here for second night of Thames Path walk.  Just 5 mins from the path.  For the price we paid, the room was tiny and I don't feel was value for money.  Certainly didnt look anything like the photos on the website.  Breakfast was extra and could have been incuded in the price but we bought pies from the local butcher instead.  Check in was painless and room was clean.
