We stayed 5 nights in apartment 5. This was comfortable and had a fridge, washing machine and decent cooker and microwave. There were rails in the cupboard and a hairdryer ironing board and iron. There was a decent compliment of utensils, pans etc. There was a smart t.v and good Wi-Fi. It was very cold outside so no need to open windows. There is also a possibility to park for £7.50 per day in the NCP car park over the road. This is a big city so this price was not bad. We were in Leicester because my daughter needed an operation so we were out all day so the view was not an issue. However I agree with the first reviewer that this is a place to use because you want to be near the shopping area (100 yards away) this is a perfect location. Again the stay may be apartment dependent. At night there was little noise as we fronted a high street
 Apartments at the back front the underpass. We saw apartment 2 at the back which was quiet but had no blackout curtains. It is certainly not a hotel but the manager was extremely helpful and Maria couldn't do enough for us. There are tenants upstairs but there was no noise. Obviously the university was down. From what I can gather the apartments have only been open a year. The hope is that they will be a success so that the other apartments can be refurbished to be holiday flats. Certainly we had a comfortable time and wish them luck.....the entrance is rather shabby and does need a lick of paint for immediate impressions.

 


Fab shopping area

We stayed 2 nights visiting family. The outside does not give you a comfortable feeling but once inside apartment, it's ok. It was advertised with parking but in fact parking is 5 minutes away with an additional charge. Didn't know this until we booked. We stayed in Apt 5 which is also on ground floor. Excellent location and was comfortable but probably wouldn't stay again. Better hotels and apartments in the city.

Stayed one night and these apartments are definitely not a hotel or pretend to be. The apartments have obviously being made within a former office/commercial building. The apartment we stayed in had two bedroom with bathroom (door had to be forced to shut with & no hair dryer), small kitchenette and two sofas in a sitting area with a flat screen TV, the signal for which kept breaking up, there was a slow Wi-Fi broadband router. The complex was obviously aimed at students and the noise in the early hours seemed to confirm this. There is no air conditioning and we did not feel particularly safe with the window open, the apartment was on the ground floor. In the bedroom was a double bed, and two open cupboards with no hanging rail for clothes and no mirror. We had a lovely view from the window of a 30,000 volt substation and from the kitchen an overflowing waste bin container. We got the impression that the apartment had been finished in a hurry because there was glue round the sink and along the back of the worktop which the end had not been finished off. There is absolutely no parking, double yellow lines in the road, and we had to book a place in the NCP carpark at the nearby Holiday Inn (go there instead).
The one good thing about the apartments was there location, very close to the centre and many restaurants.
If you choose Keswick House apartment for a short stay, take your own food and hairdryer and one/two nights maximum unless you intend to live there!! For a more hotel experience go to the Holiday just 3 minutes away and in a good position for the City centre.

Not an hotel

I booked a room from Mrs Priya Bhayani at Keswick House following an advertisement. An initial deposit of £300 was transferred to the account provided. On completion of the three months contractual period which ended on the 30th of September, I was never refunded the initial deposit of £300. After several follow-ups to the email id priya@keswick-house.com, I got some confusing reply and after giving one or two replies, the lady stopped replying and the deposit was never returned back even after three months of moving out.
