Run down dump, there is no way on this earth that this hotel is a 3-star. Bathroom taps don’t work, graffiti everywhere and the breakfast isn’t worth eating. Also, rooms are rented by the local councils for the homeless, I noticed a few room users are high and intoxicated. Couldn’t wait to leave. Only stayed as it was too late to book anywhere else and we were refused a refund. 

Worst hotel I've ever stayed it. 

This hotel is quite possibly the best hotel I have ever stayed in. After just recently returning from the Four Seasons in the Maldives I can honestly say this hotel is on par if not better. Everything from the luxurious bedding to the immaculate bathroom. The free bath robes and toiletries from Elemis was an added bonus. The staff were incredibly helpful. They couldn’t do enough and the breakfast was the best I have ever had. Thank you for a wonderful stay. I will certainly be back.

Amazing, best ever!

No hot water in the shower in the first room. No crockery. One towel for two guests. Stinks of tobacco and stale beer. Double bed crammed into room barely big enough for a single. Exposed wiring, Kettle power lead too short to reach plug. Peeling wallpaper. Loose toilet seat. No parking. 
Signs telling guests not to spit on the floor give indication of class of clientele expected.

The worst dive I've stayed in

Absolutely terrible. Stayed not more than 15 minutes before leaving to find alternate accommodation.
How it can be called a hotel I’m not too sure.
Would give 0 stars if possible- wall paper peeling off walls, wires hanging out of the wall, bed on the floor not even a duvet in sight. Avoid avoid avoid

Avoid at all costs

Stayed here last night never again I was so shocked was like a bedsit. 
Bed was like a futon, chair in room was broken, only 1 mug in room was 2 of us, the shower room was awful trying to sit on the toilet was a joke, breakfast was poor and the room smelt funny. Worst bit was what looked like blood splatter up the wall! Noisy dirty we did not get into the bed as it was so hot one of the windows wouldn't open had around 2 hour's sleep pillows were like pancakes! 
Was an experience to say the least, was a treat from my husband to be,I  we made the best of a bad situation next time we will check trip advisor!!!!

No hot water or light, toilet seat falling off.   Strong smell of cigarette smoke. Woken by catering staff setting off the smoke alarm. Noisy, didn't feel safe. Asked to speak to the manager and told they are only contactable at 10:30 am each day. Never again.

Abysmal

the bathroom was ok, the bed was crap too. had a standard credit card deposit and had to pay cash. they took the credit card deposit and the cash. no receipts, no manager. listed on Her Majesty´s Customs and Revenue as not trading. breakfast was sadder than a dead puppy and the online pictures are not what we experienced.
I would strongly recommend anyone looking at booking this place to go somewhere else. I know it might be an extra £30 but you get what you pay for

The best thing about it - location. Reasonably clean. Mega uncomfortable. Breakfast - a farce - tables inadequately set - no mugs/cups/saucers, glasses, cutlery. Curled up bread, unworkable toaster. Everything had to asked for - when we could find a staff member, who looked as though he didn't belong & wished he were elsewhere. No decaff coffee, either at breakfast or in room. No spoons or milk in room. Don't go!!

uber-awful

Terrible place, was said to have parking but didn't. Dirty, cramped. Only stale bread  for breakfast,  and coffee from a flask. Suppose the flees were free. Girl in reception was rude. I'm 5ft 10ins tall, and 12 stone but struggled to use toilet as so narrow 

Awful 

Whilst the exterior of the hotel and some of the interiors require a fair bit of work, the room was nice and the staff pleasant. The only thing I do have to say is that there was a member of night staff sat in Reception just playing on his phone. He was in the reception area but I still had to ring the bell to get his attention. Whilst I would stay there again if needed, there are those few improvements needed to be made to raise the rating to 5.
