This is the second time I've stayed with Christine and Dieter. They are very welcoming and are always ready to help you with anything. The Breiview itself is a very clean and inviting place to stay and all the rooms are nicely furnished. The views from the main lounge are brilliant and I have spent many hours just looking out the windows at the views. I hope I get the opportunity to return again in the future.

A very nice place to stay

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.  This was one night before getting the ferry south.  Arrived early, but no problem,  Christine and Dieter are very welcoming. Room was immaculately clean, spacious and well decorated.  Excellent breakfast. The opportunity to leave our luggage to collect later was offered even before we asked.
Location is at the edge of Lerwick, which allowed us three enjoyable walks nearby, but the centre of Lerwick is only 25 minutes walk away.

Superb B & B

Dieter and Christine came to the rescue at short notice when our flight was cancelled. 

We got a warm welcome on arrival, even though it was late at night. And the accommodation was both comfortable and spotlessly clean. They had lots of suggestions for activities for our extra day in Shetland.

Warm welcome

Very friendly informative hosts, beautiful and quiet rooms with all well maintained amenities, great breakfast. Could not ask for more. Bus stop just a five minute walk down the road and close enough to walk to the centre of lerwick and the docks for any boat trips which are superb.

Had a great stay at Breiview. The room was lovely, very clean and cosy with fab facilities and the hosts were super friendly and kind. Great chat at breakfast each morning. I hope to come back again sometime!

Lovely stay at Breiview!

We really enjoyed our stay here. We were in Shetland for Up Helly Aa and Christine and Dieter couldn't have been more helpful with local information, where to go to see local music, good places to eat and tips for the Up Helly Aa celebrations themselves.
The room was clean, comfortable and cosy, breakfast was cooked to order and with loads of choice, there was nothing at all to fault about Breiveiw. It is a wee bit out of the centre of Lerwick so if you aren't keen on walking the 20 minutes into town you might want to check out the buses (there's a bus goes past the end of the street) or get a taxi, but it's a nice walk and we enjoyed it.

Would definitely stay here again

Had a fabulous week in the care of Dieter and Christine.  Both went out of their way to make us welcome and supported our sightseeing on a daily basis with tips and ideas. The room was a good size, impeccably clean and comfortable and the breakfasts were more than adequate. Lerwick is beautiful and really friendly-in 7 days and nights we failed to meet a single grumpy Mainlander. The icing on the cake for us was the fabulous traditional music scene which Christine kept us up to speed on. Thank you for a great stay.

Perfect

Not overpriced. Facilities as expected. Friendly and knowledgeable owners. Good sized room, with good bed and seating area. Clean. Good shower. A little bit out of the centre, but good for Tesco. Bus stop nearby.

Best value around

This is a beautiful guest house in a peaceful location on the outskirts of Lerwick. The views from the first floor dining room/lounge are superb. The bedrooms are very well furnished and the en suite facilities are excellent. Everywhere was clean and well maintained. Breakfasts are generous, with plenty of choice, well cooked and well served. Christine and Dieter go to a lot of trouble to ensure that all guests have an enjoyable stay. I can heartily recommend this guest house. 

It lives up to its name

Stayed here for a night in the middle of the week, arrived mid afternoon, the guy we spoke to was very nice and was telling us about different things to do whilst visiting Shetland. Room was very good, maybe could’ve been a bit cleaner, shower not very good as it was just a curtain but fine as only staying for one night. Breakfast we are pretty sure was just frozen food, met another lady who was also very nice! All in all for £50 this was very good! Would come back again!
