Fantastic!  Bed was great.  Exceptionally clean home,  wonderful hosts. Perfect location.   The village itself is beautiful and well worth visiting.   So convenient to the ancient city of York as well.  2nd stay there.  Will definitely return.   

We love this place!

Stayed for two nights in the two bedroom  apartment, while visiting York & the Christmas market.  One twin room that I used & one double that my son & daughter in law used.  Nice apartment, kitchen area, sitting room & bathroom.  Lovely location would definitely want to return in the summer months.  Nice easy drive into York and breakfast was included which was lovely & plentiful.
The owners Kevin & Janet are very hospitable & welcoming.  Wonderful time.  My only suggestion would be that the shower in the bathroom could do with updating.  Lovely stay for pre Christmas trip.

Lovely two night stay

Although a little 'off the beaten track, the roads are good and it is convenient for exploring the surrounding area. Rooms spacious and well appointed. Excellent breakfast with cooked or 'continental' choices, freshly prepared. Owners friendly, attentive and helpful. But beware the lack of eateries in the area open Sunday to Tuesday !

Peaceful but remarkably convenient

Only stayed here one night but what a brilliant little gem of a place. I would definitely stay here again another time.
Really nice rooms and facilities and the owner was lovely.
The bed was really comfortable. And nice to be able to sit out in the sun on a little patio. 
Highly recommend.

Brilliant find

We wanted a roomy, quality B&B in a quiet location with easy access to the Yorkshire Dales. Not only did we find that but we found two excellent Hosts in Janet and Kevin Robinson. The cooked breakfasts were delicious and Sunday dinner was a tour de force roast chicken dinner, choice of 3 desserts and a very good wine. We'll definitely be returning.

An Excellent B&B in a Quiet and Useful Location

We booked this lovely B&B purely based on reviews as a base for our recent visit to York. The rooms are very well maintained and spotlessly clean , the owners are very friendly and accommodating. The icing on the cake though was the breakfasts, cooked to perfection and plentiful will definitely be coming vack

Perfect

Very friendly BB . Nice place to stay , quiet.  Room's  good size and very clean. The owners look after you,  there is no proper restaurant but you will be surprised what you can get.  Very nice cooked English brekfast from fresh products. Evning meals  like steaks ,currys , pastas,  lasagnes taste amazing like Michelin star restaurant. Highly recommended to everyone. Thank you very much pleasure of stay. Hopefully see you again.

Amazing stay in Linton-On-Ouse

Jan and Kev are the most welcoming accommodating hosts at this little gem of a BnB. Lovely rooms, great cooked breakfasts in a traditional  farmhouse. We’ll be back ! Excellent base for visits to Historic York. Taxi from York station £25, 29 bus service to village but infrequent and some get no further than Easingwold so check times in advance.

The best little guest house in Yorkshire

We stayed in the two bed apartment for a weekend and it was lovely. Clean, comfortable, spacious accommodation and well equipped. 

We loved the little conservatory lounge in the evening although on our second night the torrential rain made it hard to hear the telly. There were TVs in the bedroom though so that didn’t have to be an issue. 

Between check in and check out we didn’t see much of the hosts but they were ever so helpful on and before arrival.

We ate at the Blacksmith Arms both nights in neighbouring Newton-on-Ouse which was superb - friendly and accommodating staff and the food was wonderful.

The only downsides were a lack of bin bags for the large bin (I found small ones too late!) and I couldn’t see a smoke alarm - there may have been one but I couldn’t see it and it didn’t detect me burning the bacon, so that played on my anxiety a bit. 

All in all it was a good stay though and we wouldn’t hesitate to stay again or recommend to others.

Lovely place to stay

We came to stay in this beautiful Manor House to visit relatives, the room was clean and spacious. The owners were very welcoming and very informative. The breakfast was good and there were a variety of choices.

The location is fantastic for exploring the local area.

Unfortunately we had to leave after one night due to family circumstances, however we did not leave until after 4 30 pm, our bed was not made and the towels were not changed, the tea cups were still dirty from the morning. I would still stay here again, but I would bring clean towels if I were to stay longer than two nights.
