Great location with friendly staff. Rooms a great size, the only thing which really really needs addressing is the cleanliness. It was filthy. Even the kettle had a sticky dusty covering over it with water left in from god knows when. Yes there was noise from the other bars, but I never noticed after a few drinks myself. 

Great little hotel

Booked this hotel for a girls weekend away. Easy to find with hotel parking but you will have to go into the hotel to get the key, it's only £5 a night so way cheaper than the car parks opposite. Rooms are on the 2nd floor, there is a lift to use. Room and bathroom were  both very spacious and up to date which was better other twin rooms we have previously stayed in. Staff were  very pleasant and helpful, always a cheery word.
For the price this is an ideal hotel which is located just off of the main street and is almost a flat walking route.
The only downside is that there is a nightclub next door so be prepared for some noise from the music but if you are partying all night it will probably be stopped by the time you get in. Even with this we would stay here again.

Two night  break away

We stayed here as it was all we could find for a Saturday night while taking in a show at the Arena. The place looks dirty and it is. Our room had a comfortable bed and clean sheets. That's the end of the positives. There was damp climbing up the walls and the room needed painting ten years ago. The window frames and sills were dirty and whilst the shower/toilet room was clean you couldn't move in it without bumping into something. There was no double glazing and the noise from a function that ended at 3am was unbearable. Finally we had to pay £80.00 for this room that I wouldn't put my dog in. Avoid at all costs.

A little hidden gem close to all in Liverpool.  Clean tidy with ensuite.  Located in Parr Street recording studio with bars & restaurants close buy.  Limited secure parking. 

Would class it more boutique style.  Staff friendly & welcoming

So what can you do when the noise is so loud that despite drinking way too much, sleep just isn't going to happen yet?! Write a review...Trying not not to read too many reviews in advance because no-one ever agrees, so you would never book anything- but really should have done our research. Like the quirks of a warehouse regeneration, the old service lift etc. and the styling: like many, just needed a bed for the night, preferably up a notch from the pubic hairs at the Campanile! Bed comfy, sheets, clean but sorry....the noise and the apparently blindfolded cleaner mean it's a no. If you are only coming in once the clubs shut and you like a layer of grime, then it's a bargain. If you dont want someone else's footprints in your shower, object to their hair stuck to your feet and know you'll struggle to resist nipping to B and Q in order to carry out an entrance face lift, stay away. Indoor, staffed car park is handy, night rate July £19 is now £16 and outdoor parking lot is £6-8. Nice biccies on the tea tray and a fan supplied for the hot rooms. 

Wide awake and reviewing!!!

A quirky hotel close to Liverpool centre. If you’re looking for something a little different than a basic hotel this could be the place for you. Good facilities in the spacious room; en-suite shower, kettle, ironing board and iron, hairdryer, and mini-bar! Tucked away above a recording studio a friendly welcome awaits. It’s worth a visit for the lift alone 😃

Quirky hotel

We booked a night here, The parking was a convenient secure carpark at the end of the road.
The reception was unusual, the receptionist excellent, and she showed us to our room via a very old 2 door lift.Our room was large, had everything we needed apart from fresh air or aircon, even with the window open it was rediculously hot, fortunately there was a powerful fan for us to fight over keeping one of us cool during the night.
We loved the place, it was in a good spot for food,drink,nightlife etc.

Our room was a great size, clean and had everything we needed and very close to central Liverpool. I would recommend using the ear plugs offered at reception as we didn’t and the noise was very invasive. Window not closing didn’t help. The place was really quirky, comfy bed and friendly welcome. 

No frills, good location 

We have paid £80 to sleep in a completely filthy hole. We found hairs everywhere from the previous guests. The heating was broken, the windows did not close properly and we could feel the wind coming inside. The toilet was tiny as well and extremely disgusting.The lamp was broken and there was not space in the wardrobe for a coat.
The lift super old and even dirtier than the rest of the property, it was also incredible noisy and our room was located just next to it. We where waiting for a while outside the building waiting for someone to open the door. At night the noise coming from the pubs in the street, the lift and the staff in the hotel was something completely unbelievable. A sewer is healthier than this place called ''boutique hotel''. I would never recommend it.

Sleeping in a sewer is healthier than sleeping in this hotel.

Small very compact. Podz is the right word. It's very hot. No air con. It's a bed for the night don't expect anything else and you'll be fine.
Great location. For all of Liverpool night Life.
The hotel is low cost and a perfect bed for the night. Only really suggested for one person per room
