I stayed here for two nights for a friends funeral nearby.  This B and B is furnished like a boutique 5 star hotel and the rooms are very comfortable and very clean.  Excellent service and breakfast.  I was very well looked after and would not hesitate to recommend it.  I wish I had been there for longer and on a holiday!   

Fantastic Place

I regularly stay at Llwyn Helyg Country House on business, and there is nowhere better than this beautiful, tasteful place. 
The hosts are wonderfully warm and welcoming and can’t do enough for you, and always with a cheery smile.
The rooms are exquisitely decorated to an exceptionally high standard and great attention to detail. The highest quality bed linen and beds make for a fabulous nights sleep. 
The bathrooms are a real highlight with high quality marble, large spacious power showers and large jacuzzi baths.
Breakfast is freshly cooked and again, to a high standard in keeping with everything else on offer.
Llwyn Helyg is set in beautiful, quiet countryside about 8 miles from Carmarthen centre.
It’s no wonder that so many people return to Llwyn Helyg Country House on a regular basis.

Attention to Detail

This accomodation has been one our fondest highlights of our visit so far around the UK. This is one of those rare gems when it comes to location and hospitality. Professionally run with a richness of care and love. Caron and Fiona are the most loveliest of people and I’m so glad we have experienced their home as a guest. Seeing what they have created and the many year journey is inspiring and something quite special. Care has been taken in almost every aspect of the property. It has a majesty that was a joy to experience. We loved it so much that we added an extra night and extra special trip to Wales to enjoy it some more. There is another gem to this home and it involves music, just ask Caron. It may for you, like me, engender a touching tone of emotion. 

Welsh Gem

Just utterly bewitching. Superb quality country house, unbelievable hosts . The bedrooms are incredible.attention to detail is astonishing. The music room is a must if you like music.topping off an amazing stay was a delicious breakfast.  One word sums this place up.  GO.

I would give it 6* if I could .....

This was our third stay at Llwynhelyg Country House and definitely not our last, what a real treat this B&B still is. Every detail is carefully thought out and presented in a manner of excellence that puts many of the high end chains to shame. With three rooms that are all beautifully decorated and equipped to the highest standard. The beds are extremely comfortable and the linen high grade Egyptian cotton. The bedrooms marble and solid oak flooring and furnishings bring a sumptuous feel and this provision of service and quality is only surpassed by the welcome of the hosts Caron and Fiona, who had warm Scones, coffee and tea ready for us upon arrival. 
They provide a service that brings your experience to a new level. Every aspect of this property oozes quality and value for money from the decor to the double sweeping oak staircase. The food is part and parcel of this experience of quality, with a breakfast that is wholesome well cooked local ingredients and presented as it would be in a very good restaurant. If you add to this a music or entertainment room that for anyone who appreciates superb high fidelity sound this establishment is a must. I have found no qualms or reason to deduct any points for this very special location and country house. For those who want quality without the hustle and bustle of a large hotel. You can do no better that this place. A refined food emporium is within walking distance in the village and has  easy access to Carmarthen, Cardiff and the Botanical gardens to name but a few.

Highest quality with constant high stands, A real rare great value gem

Our one night stay at this absolutely superb country house was a gift from our daughter and son-in-law. They had stayed here before and spoke very highly of the many features on offer from the excellent hosts. Our room and ensuite bathroom  were wonderful, and the breakfast was just perfect. The design of the house is very interesting and we had a short tour which we both found fascinating. The house is situated in a very beautiful and peaceful location, and ideally placed for visits to the National Botanic Garden, or one of our favourites Aberglasney Garden.

5 Star B&B Country House

We were looking for accommodation close to the Botanic Gardens and stumbled on this guest house by chance. After reading the fabulous reviews on Tripadvisor we decided to book for 4 nights. We were extremely impressed with this fantastic accommodation and agree totally with previous comments! The house has been perfectly designed and fitted with beautiful flooring, decor and furniture. It's in a lovely peaceful location and in an ideal location for visiting the Botanic Garden and Aberglasny to name but 2 great attractions.  Our bedroom and bathroom were beautiful with a large comfortable bed and breakfasts were excellent. Caron and Fiona couldn't have been more welcoming and as we left we felt we were saying goodbye to friends. We would certainly stay again and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to anybody looking for a perfect holiday.

guest accommodation manor for those that want to indulge in luxury rooms with beatiful ensuite.Award winning lives up to its reputation. Owned by a wonderful couple who cannot do enough for you.This is an amazing family manor and takes you to another world for a place to stay at.

2 nights stay

We stumbled upon this place online as we were looking for somewhere near the Botanic Gardens as we had a wedding. We were blown away with how beautiful this house is and the hospitality we were shown was world class. 

It is owned and run by a lovely couple who were lovely and couldn’t do enough for you. The room was superb and had an amazing jacuzzi bath which we loved. Little touches like Ferraro Roche were in the room and cookies in a jar. 
Breakfast again couldn’t be faulted. 

We were lucky enough to get a tour of the whole house and the effort that has gone into building it was just amazing. 

We literally can not fault our stay and can’t wait to find a reason to go back. 

What a find! 

If you are looking for the perfect place to stay, no need to go further, you found it at Llwyn Helyg. The house is just amazing with very big rooms. The bedding is so good that it was like if you were sleeping in a cloud! The bathroom with marble and jacuzzi is amazing. The Welsh hospitality is taken at its highest level with Fiona and Cavan who are perfect hosts.
