Fantastic hotel, the staff were very pleasant, helpful and efficient, special mention to Andrew and Wendy.
Restaurant was great, good service, fabulous food.  Breakfast was just as good - Welsh breakfast recommended!
The hotel itself was spotless, well-maintained and extremely pleasant and relaxing.
Only possible addition would be a dedicated bar seating area, but it was not an issue.

Great place!

Went here, last minute on the last day of our holiday, and had the most amazing meal. It wasn’t that expensive for a first class dining experience .  The view from the restaurant is fabulous.  Would recommend to anyone.

Fantastic

Thanks to Carl and his team for a wonderful Sunday lunch for our large family. Food was amazing and the service was second to tone. The children were kept busy with the great play area while we could all chill out after lunch. I choose Hake from the specials board while my wife had the nut roast both very meals

Family meal 

This was my second stay at the hotel, good food, service, but the room had a loud noise coming from outside room 15 it went on all night and not the best nights sleep and also i couldn't get he shower to work, just very hot water, and exactly the same as i stayed last time, i spend 10 mins trying to get it to allow me to shower but without success, plus it has a very strange tv position not where you would normally put a Tv.

I mentioned this to reception on the way out as the room was paid for the night before, a touch strange for a hotel to asked for payment on entering normally its at check out.
 and was told the manager would call me but two weeks later no phone call,
i rang today and he told me everything was fine with the showers its me i couldn't get them to work but he didn't have an answer for the noise, i found him rude and dismissive
but you can behave like that when payment has been made
if any hotel cant be honest with its guests because a refund is in order, that speaks volume to me, somewhat short signed but hey there are lots of tourist out, and hotels to stay i wouldn't return at £125 for a very dull basic room

Arrogant dismissive Manager

This hotel reminded me of a 1930’s film the building is fantastic and the service was the best I’ve had in years. 
I find that hotel staff are normally over worked and quite miserable but not here. The lady on reception gave a brilliant first impression and the two gentleman in the restaurant backed up that good first impression, the Sunday roast was lovely.
The room was very clean and nicely presented, the water was hot and the heating was perfect. Breakfast was the perfect start for a long day at work. Thank you to the staff and all involved at the hotel. I almost forgot, the views…

The Grand Budapest Hotel 

A last-minute booking, and as warm as a welcome as could be expected 😀 with Kelly on reception being the most polite and welcoming individual ever! We both ordered the lamb rolled shoulder, and it was one of the best roast dinners either of us had experienced, together with the best service and hospitality any restaurant has delivered 🙌 

If you're visiting Anglesey, don't hesitate to visit the Gadlys for what is delivered on the plate!

Exceptional Sunday Dinner

A friendly welcome on arrival, room 3 had a fantastic view, the room was spotless & the bed was so comfy.
We ate in the hotel for both breakfast & dinner and the food was excellent. What makes this hotel so special is the staff...each & everyone of them go above & beyond to make your stay a good experience, Sam & Andrew were just 2 of the staff that deserve a mention  (unfortunately we didn't get anymore names)  but all of the staff really were magnificent.
The only down side for some maybe is that it is in quite an isolated place so you need a car but if you don't mind  a drive to get to other places on the island then I would 100% recommend this hotel.

Excellent Service & Staff

Food was absolutely fantastic. Top marks to the chef.
The staff are super efficient and friendly. Special thank you to Andy who made our visit that more special.
We live locally and are planning to book a night away here as we enjoyed it so much.
Definitely recommend. Great food, wonderful surroundings and brilliant staff !

Evening meal

A really nice family run hotel - clean, well kept and friendly staff. The hotel features ample parking and overlooks, from a distance, Cemaes Bay. Rooms are spacious with ensuite shower with TV and Wi-fi. The hotel has an on site bar/restaurant. The food is good and portions ample, although we'd have liked the menu to be rotated a bit more. It is also a popular spot with the locals which is positive. The hotel is also ideally placed for walkers as it's very close to the Welsh Coastal Path. Finally, we found the staff very good at suggesting local walks and other activities/restaurants etc. Overall a really good stay.

A nice find

Greeted warmly and seated quickly. Our waitress was wonderful, discrete but attentive and very efficient. All three of us ordered the lamb steak roast which came with buttery carrots, tangy red cabbage, long stem broccoli a large Yorkshire pudding and thick, rich tasty gravy. The underdone "roasted" potatoes were a little disappointing but they tasted nice enough., whilt the lamb was melt in the mouth perfection. Desserts  were creme brulle with shortbread and fruit coulis which was to die for, apple sultana  and almond crumble with creamy thick custard and a very unique raspberry cheesecake which had been consumed in seconds! Put that together with wonderful sea views and you have a very successful Sunday!
