Staying at the Bodnant and going to see the grey seals around The Little Orme has become a superb family tradition. The rooms in the hotel are all lovely, the breakfast is delicious and the service is superb. Edward is a warm and friendly host. There is also a nice selection of board games in the dining room to keep us entertained. See you next year :)

The friendliest of service possible

Very comfortable room within easy walking distance of the main shopping/restaurant area of Llandudno.  Edward is an excellent host clearly wanting to provide a good service to his guests.  On arrival, he offered a room change as there was work going on at the house next door which could have disturbed us.  Room had tea and coffee facilities including a cafetiere and chocolates.  There were also snacks available in reception.   Breakfast was good.  We were going to miss breakfast on the Saturday as we were doing the park run, so Edward left some yogurt, juice and milk for cerael in the fridge in the dining room for us and a flask of hot water to make coffee/tea so that we could have a small breakfast earlier than the usual time.  He also offered a late check-out as there no-one due in the room on the day we left, so we didn't have to rush to leave.  Would certainly recommend and stay there again if we return to Llandudno.

Excellent host, comfortable room

Still consistently good despite new owners since our last visit. Edward is very obliging and helpful, always asking customers if they are happy with everything.

Our king size bedroom was very comfortable with walk-in shower which was useful to us and was front facing. The breakfast was plentiful and well cooked, quality food was always used. Maybe they need to offer poached eggs as an option which is not on the menu.

There’s good off-road parking for 3/4 cars but plenty of street parking once local workers have gone home. 

Hotel is located in a nice and peaceful area, yet very close to the shops on Mostyn St and plenty of restaurants within 10-15 minutes walk. The rail station is only five minutes walk for those without private transport, it’s far enough away that you don’t hear trains.

All in all, another enjoyable stay to which we would return to Bodnant GH again.

Fourth visit, always good

Lovely guest house in a quiet residential area , but close to the station and all amenities! 
Friendly owner who gave the best service!
Very clean rooms with good facilities!  The rooms were very well equipped with tea/coffee facilities There was even a cafetière with ground coffee! 
The room was very comfortable with top quality furniture and very  king size comfortable bed ! The room was very quiet also !  There was an excellent information folder which was extremely useful ! 
Excellent breakfast  We ordered a cooked breakfast which was delicious . There was also extra snacks in the dining area and a fridge for the guests to use 
Would recommend to anyone !
Check in very easy  and we were able to leave our cases and access room early!

High standard guest house with the best service!

My visit was a last minute booking and I wasn't disappointed. Beautiful Bodnant Guest House, is situated in a quiet residential area about 10 minutes walk to the promenade and exceeded my expectations!

On arrival I was greeted by our host Edward who showed me the dining room  where breakfast is served. I was then shown to my room. I should add one thing that struck me upon entering the guest house is that it is spotlessly clean, very well decorated and I loved the period tiles in the hallway.

As expected, when I entered my single bedroom it was light and airy, situated at the top of the house and at the front. There was plenty of room, from hanging my clothes, to a tv, comfy chair, tea/coffee making and a sink. I had a separate big bathroom with bath, toilet and sink just on the landing which wasn't a problem to me as it was for my personal use only, and quality toiletries were provided along with beautiful white towels.

I tend to have a full English breakfast when I'm away, and I couldn't fault the breakfasts that Edward prepared fresh each morning, they were delicious and kept me going till lunchtime.

 Edward was a fantastic host, and went out of his way to ensure my stay was enjoyable, and he even gave me a map to make it easier for me to find my way around! However, I did take the sight-seeing bus to get more familiar with the area, the commentary was excellent and saved my feet! 

I would have no hesitation in recommending Bodnant Guest House. I hope to visit again as soon as I am able. My thanks and best wishes to Edward and Bridget, take care xx

A last minute booking which Exceeded my expectations...

How  fortunate were my husband & I  to have got the last double bedroom at Bodnant Guest House last Friday.  Only wish we could have stayed for  more than 2 nights.  Everything about the accommodation was first class, cleanliness, decor and the attentiveness from Edward our host was fantastic. Nothing was too much trouble . We would highly recommend Bodnant  Guest House and hope that we can visit again soon.  Marilyn & John

Fantastic

I booked in for 4 nights as a short break, the price was very reasonable and the accommodation very clean and comfortable, Edward the landlord was very attentive and the breakfast was fresh, hot and tasty, just what you need before going exploring, the B&B is a stones throw from the beach,pier, and some fabulous walks. The high Street is on the doorstep and is great for shopping,  lots of restaurants close by,  I highly recommend Bodnant Guest House 👍😁

Stayed for 2 nights in July. What a fabulous guest house. Edward is most definitely the host with the most. Nothing is too much trouble. The breakfast was really good and the cleanliness of the place could not be faulted. Situated in a wide road in a mostly residential area, minutes walk away from the centre of Llandudno. Will definitely stay again

Fabulous

Spent 3 nights at The Bodnant and was thoroughly made up with the quality of everything there. Edward the owner was so attentive and nothing was too much trouble for him. Very friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was just right and very reasonably priced at £8. A dish full of a variety of snacks was always topped up as people could help themselves, and some guests sadly took advantage of this by scoffing the lot. Room was spotless and modern. Full compliment of tea, coffee and hot chocolate plus a few chocolates and two bottles of water. Bed very comfy and all in all very good value for money. Edward has obviously put a huge amount of effort into the guest house and it really shows. Can’t fault anything and would highly recommend a stay here. Thanks Edward. Steve and Caroline

Excellent

we booked this bed and breakfast at short notice for a couple of days away and was pleasantly surprised on arrival to find the owner had opened just for us. The room was clean and comfortable and had all we needed including a more than above average hospitality tray.  there we also bowls with snacks, and drinks in the fridge, available in the dining room should we have wished to help ourselves. Nothing was to much  for Edward as our host and he obviously cares about the experience that his guests get.  Breakfast was pleasant enough, freshly cooked, but choice was limited but this was understandable.
the hotel was quite enough and only just a short walk from the attractions of Llandudno and car parking either on the drive or in the road was easy enough.
