We stayed here as a couple, the hosts are really lovely and friendly and they are willing to help you with anything you require.
The top floor bedrooms are a bit of a trek up the stairs so may not suit people with walking difficulties. 
The room we had room 5 was very dated especially the bathroom and the television needs replacing for a larger TV but our room was very clean and served all our needs.
Breakfast was very nice with a fairly good choice plus you can request as many items as you want from the menu. 
Personally we would have liked the option of black pudding, mushrooms or fried bread on the breakfast menu but we were more than happy with what we received. 
you have to order breakfast the day before which may not suit some people but it wasn't an issue for us.
The hotel is at the quiet end of the resort and is quite a trek from the town centre which may not suit people with walking difficulties especially in bad weather but again we managed okay.

Lovely hosts and a very nice stay

You can not complain one bit about this establishment.
Warm and welcoming atmosphere clean and cosy rooms.
Reasonable costs considering location.
Breakfast was presented nicely and staff were attentive. 

Andrew had great local knowledge and was a lovely host. 

We came for my wife's 40th and I would not hesitate to return.

Warm friendly and welcoming 

Just back from a weeks holiday at the Fairhaven and have had a friendly, welcoming quiet retreat from my busy life.
From the word go Andrew, Paula, Anne and Mel ensured I had a comfortable stay.
Room was clean and perfectly adequate. Meals were home cooked and lovely. Really appreciated the thought for the day and prayers before each meal. Paula makes her own jam and marmalade so brought some home with me. Delicious. Hotel is at the quiet end of the promenade and has lovely views of the bay and the Great Orme. I'll definitely be back.

A friendly retreat 

There was something wrong with our shower - water was still really hot even when the dial was turned down to the coldest setting, so wasn't the best shower to have after a hot day at the beach. They did say they will get a plumber in to sort it, which is fine and sometimes these things do happen.

However there are other areas which fell short of our expectations. The room is too warm to sleep in on a hot night. There aren't any fans we could use and we could only open one window which didn't let in much ventilation. Considering that more visitors are likely to visit Llandudno in the summer months, that could be an issue. 

We opted not to have our towels changed during our two night stay but that didn't mean we didn't want any housekeeping done - bed wasn't made, trash wasn't taken out and used cups not replaced, which is what we come to expect as standard in our experience staying at other hotels and b&bs. 

The staff are lovely and friendly and they did try to make our stay welcoming. But when one of them got flustered while trying to sort out everyone's breakfast on a busy Saturday morning, another one had to come into the breakfast room to tell her what to do and what she wasn't doing right. Hearing the exchange between them made breakfast less than relaxing and we decided not to have anymore toast when they asked because we didn't want to possibly add to the commotion. 

I wish I could give a more positive review because the people running it did seem really nice, but we've had far more comfortable stays at other hotels and b&bs. 

Friendly staff, but less than comfortable stay

The staff at this hotle are so very helpful  and kind. With my mum been blind it was a worry for me how she would manage. Andrew and his team took that worry from me. The rooms are clean but basic. The food is very nice and we'll cooked

We didn't realise the hotel was a Christian Hotel. The owners were very nice people and helped us a lot but any hotel is a Christian Hotel ! you just need to talk to people and be polite & help others.. If you need to pray, that's a personal matter. We don't think you need prayers and thoughts for the day hanging on the walls of your bedroom. The main reason we left the hotel after only one night was the fact that my wife could not climb up the twisty stairs (Bad Legs). Andrew (the proprietor ) was very kind in offering us one on a lower floor on the 2nd day, the the stairs were just too much.
Breakfast........( was not the best )
