We returned to Bryn Derwen for a little break away - my partner had booked it for my birthday as a surprise. Whenever we are in Llandudno this is our first choice - Lyn & Mark are fantastic hosts- nothing is too much trouble- no surprise that many of their guests return like us. All the rooms are stunning - attention given to every detail- cleanliness exceptional, huge comfy beds, fluffy towels, plenty of teas & coffee, biscuits & elderflower drinks included . There is also a little fridge on the landing with fresh bottles of milk & water for every room. 
Breakfast is delicious and cooked from locally sourced ingredients - nothing not to like- thank you again for a lovely break away ❤️

Third visit to Bryn Derwen & it won’t be our last!

Our third stay at this guest house, comfortable rooms with plenty of tea coffee cold drinks and other little touches to add to the comfort of the room. A really good selection for breakfast, nothing was too much trouble for the friendly hosts.

Absolutely faultless.... comfy bed, lovely cosy room with everything you could need (nice big mugs, plenty of milk, filtered water and even soft drinks!).

Lyn and Mark are very welcoming and are genuinely lovely people. Their hotel feels really homely, and is spotlessly clean. The rooms were big and comfy with a lovely clean bathroom. The breakfast was first class. Thanks Lyn and Mark, we'll definitely be back!

lovely clean b&b, hosts mark & lyn go out of there way to be helpful, breakfast is amazing, fills you up all day long. Room was spacious and nice finishing touches likes fizzy water, biscuits and chocolates in the room every day
only negative was in our room (room 3) it was quite slippy getting out of the shower,
excellent location, only 5 mins walk to the centre.

Stayed at Bryn Derwen for 2 nights with friends. We arrived teatime, and the most wonderful welcome was waiting for us. Lin and Mark were on hand for anything we needed. The first thing I noticed was the lush carpet and comfortable living room. Small bar if you fancy that little nightcap before bed. We were shown to our rooms, and what a beautiful surprise. Our rooms had recently been renovated, stunning shower room, beautifully decorated, soft bed, fluffy pillows. Tea/coffee/fresh milk/biscuits/soft drinks and chocolates all in the room. Breakfast was on another level. All the usual continental options with freshly cooked hot food of our choice. You could just taste the quality of the food! Everything was super fresh, the fruit juice, the eggs, the meat, the fruit. Tables were all immaculately set, white crockery and linen, all set with a red rose. The small touches really did give that luxurious feel. 

Will definitely stay again if we return to Llandudno

Just back from two nights stay at Bryn Derwen, first time staying here and all I can say is superb, from the warm welcome on arrival to the best breakfast I’ve had in a very long time. Visited Llandudno on numerous occasions over the years and stayed at lots of hotels and B&B’s, but this place will be our first choice in future visits. It’s in a good location but still really quite, close to town, with parking included. Keep up the good work guys, and we will definitely see you again, thank you…

Superb, first choice in future visits.

I chanced upon this wonderful b and b and feel very fortunate to have discovered such a gem! I booked two single rooms but instead of usual pokey single rooms we were provided with large luxurious rooms, mine with a double bed and my friend's with twin beds. Superb bathrooms with showers, night lighting and the best mirrors with built in magnifiers added to the overall comfort and luxury. My friend's room overlooked the sun-drenched seating area at the back of the house whilst mine, on the front, had panoramic views over the rooftops of Llandudno.  Little extras such as chocolates and quality soft drinks were provided as well as the usual tea and coffee. Breakfast was excellent with bowls of very fresh fruit, including strawberries and blueberries together with a range of cereals and yoghurts. The cooked breakfast was delicious and, even though, we were asked to complete a breakfast form the night before it was possible to have something different if wished in the morning. The benefit of private parking cannot be underestimated. We were there on a school holiday and would have had to park miles away if parking was not provided at Bryn Derwen. Finally, Mark and Llyn are lovely hosts who put their all into providing an excellent experience for their guests!

Stayed in the premium room for the weekend,
We were looked after by the excellent hosts Mark and Lyn,
Room was very comfortable with all the amenities you needed and some extra little things to make our stay as good as it could be,
Breakfast was delicious with just about everything you could want whatever your preference, 10 out of 10,
Great location within walking distance of very nice restaurants and sea front attractions,
Would definitely stay here again,
