This has to be the worst place I have ever stayed in my life, The 2 Australian owners(tweedle dee nd tweedle dumm) need to go on a hospitality course nd interior design also industrial cleaning or something they were very rude, very dirty and also the whole place was stinking DIRTY. STAINED BEDDING CARPET CURTAINS ETC,I popped to the local shop for about 10 minutes ND when I got back I caught them both in my room going through my things 😯 When i asked them what on earth they thought they were doing?? They had the audacity to accuse me of smoking in the room nd i don't even smoke, that was it I left there nd then,I know its only 35 per night nd not to expect much but privacy costs nothing as do manners nd also cleanliness, Dont make the same mistake as myself, YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED, AVOID AVOID AVOID

Please stay away from the place , the owners are horrible people and there are junkies taking heroin in the toilets , they even steal your toilet roll , my pillow case was full of fiecies   , stay away guys please

Smack head place

Marginally more expensive than the local Travelodge, I booked the room for one night as I was travelling with work and wanted more of a "local experience". What a mistake!

The entire property made me feel very uncomfortable and having spent barely 30 minutes in my room trying to work out which of the 2 single beds was the least uncomfortable, wondering if my window closed or if I'd be subjected to the street noises all night, realising the wifi didn't work at such altitude and debating how I was going to trek to the bathroom during the night in such a warren of a house, I decided to go for the Travelodge after all.

I made my excuses and left, to which the owner/manager(?) shows little care and interest. I have since been told I'm not entitled to a refund because they don't do refunds, and in fact having sent 2 emails to the owner I have received no reply. I only know they have refused a refund because I booked through Hotels.com and they told me I wasn't getting one.

I wouldn't normally leave such a poor review (we all have bad days at the office), but having terrible service like this and then not even the curtesy of any response to TWO emails, I think is unacceptable.

I’m not going to run this place down. It’s a work in progress in a very picky market. 
The welcome and service was second to none. 
We had a comfy night at a bargain price. Clean towels and plenty of tea and coffee
Breakfast was very filling, plenty of choice and cooked to order. 

Fantastic welcome

This place is not for you if steep stairs are an issue or if decor is important to you. Otherwise it was the cheapest place i found and perfectly servicable. It was clean if somewhat battered and threadbare in places. There were reviews mentioning uncomfortable beds, and they were not new, but i slept very well. Likewise i read that the showers were not good but i had no problem. 
Filling breakfast. Parking spaces at the back, (on street parking was all permit only) and a small outdoor seating area.
Felt secure, key code for front door. About 15 mins walk to town centre, to station, and to costal path. A number of take aways about 5 mins walk away. Overall not luxury but everything you need.

hole of the highest order ,tv doesn't work (no signal) ,wi fi only works if you sit in the dining room , booked for 2 nights getting out before I catch a disease , beds like a brick ,room looks like no one's touched it in about 30 years

Stayed a single night with my son to watch a Scarlets Rugby match. There is no doubt that the building is tired but the owners and staff are friendly and accommodating. It’s a short walk to town centre but a bit of a hike to the rugby ground. Rooms were clean and quiet, breakfast cooked to order and there is free parking on site. All in all it’s good value for money and I would stay there again.

Functional and Friendly

On arrival the staff were welcoming and friendly, couldn’t do enough for you. Convenient parking onsite. Room was clean and spacious. Breakfast was lovely. Very reasonably priced. A great find, we will definitely visit again. 

Great value b&b

They were traveling and found this 2* B&B. A price-performance ratio that's totally fine. Ottah, the employees, was very friendly and helpful. More than enough for an overnight with few demands on style and modernity. But everything was clean. Unfortunately, the city core is dead and many buildings are standing empty and falling apart.
