We recently enjoyed a delightful stay for three nights at Sarah and Mark’s guest house, The Fern. 
It was very clean and comfortable, and in very good location. 
As vegans, we were well catered for at breakfast too. 
Thank you for making our stay so pleasant! 

Delightful stay in good location

Five star all the way. Absolutely beautiful guest house. The whole place is immaculate. Our room was beautiful and it was so peaceful. We had a lovely two night stay at The Ferns Guest house. Sarah was absolutely lovely and even gave us advice on a amazing hike to do, which we did and it was fantastic. So pleased she told us about it.
We would definitely stay here again.

Simple stunning guest house

This was our second stay at the ferns. If you are looking for somewhere to stay in betwys coed this has to be the best. Impeccably clean, modern ensuire facilities, very comfortable beds, light and bright bedrooms, fantastic breakfast cooked to order, but above all what makes the ferns stand out is the great hosts Sarah and Mark. Thanks for a great stay.

Book you won't be disappointed 

The Ferns was the perfect choice for our party of 6 - our family of 4 and 2 British friends who joined us during our trip to North Wales! Sarah and Mark were kind, attentive and yet not intrusive! The breakfast was excellent and was a highlight as was the coffee. Rooms were clean and well equipped and this was all one would want from a B&B - a perfect base for our adventure to Snowdon, which we happily were able to climb successfully! Highly recommend The Ferns! 

Perfect base for Snowdonia adventure!

This is a really great B&B. About 2 mins from the train station. We had room 4, which is small but perfectly fine with all amenities and a view to the back gardens where we saw the neighbours horse. 
The whole B&B was spotless and Sarah & Mark were very helpful and nice. 
The breakfast was really good and we totally recommend The Ferns. 

A great place

My husband and I stayed here for 2 days while hiking in Snowdonia. Sarah and Mark were spectacular hosts- both extremely kind and helpful. The place was very cozy and we felt right at home. Rooms were comfortable and the breakfast was delicious. Conveniently located for local restaurants and access to trails either by walking or by car. We would definitely stay here again and we will remember it fondly from our trip to North Wales.

Wonderful gem of a place!

We've returned to Betws-y-Coed and stayed at The Ferns again.
Lovely rooms, well situated (walking distance to The Stable, Olif, and other restaurants) and if you are looking at staying at Betws-y-Coed, you know you are right at the start of Snowdon Park. 

Sarah has been super welcoming both times we stayed at The Ferns. 

Great recommendations of places to eat and sightseeing spots.

Friendly, clean, cosy.

My friend and I stayed for a total of two nights for a weekend away. Cosy and clean. Sarah was very welcoming. Great breakfast! We had to leave at the crack of dawn on our final morning but Sarah kindly made us a packed lunch instead of breakfast. 

I would recommend parking on the road (perfectly safe) instead of the driveway as it’s a little steep and quite tight.

Wonderful

Mark and Sarah are wonderful hosts. Their knowledge of Snowdonia makes a visit to the Tourist Office a waste of time.
The bedroom was very clean,bright and airy.  The breakfast was the best that we have had this year.
It is not surprising that there are so many returning guests.

The Ferns is a wonderful b&b and we are so glad to have discovered it! We recently stayed for our second time and can’t recommend it enough! 

Sarah and Mark are gracious hosts and the hotel is spotlessly clean. It is in an ideal location, perfect for exploring all that North Wales has to offer. 

We would now not consider staying anywhere else, we feel it is important to support small businesses following the ordeal we have all been through during the crazy last few years. 

Mark and Sarah are welcoming and friendly and always pass the time of day and offer recommendations for places in the area, which is great 😊 

We had a lovely freshly cooked breakfast during our first stay. All ingredients are top quality and delicious and cooked to perfection. 

I myself have recommended the hotel to a number of people already but I really should stop - There will be no availability for when we would like to return 😄 once discovered we feel you will always go back to this little gem.
