After holidaying to Molly’s Cottage at Coedllys numerous times as a child it was wonderful to return 20 years later for a family holiday. The cottage and surroundings are absolutely beautiful, and we felt so relaxed from the moment we arrived. It was lovely meeting the animals and the children loved spotting the peacocks! Thank you so much to Val and Keith for making our stay extra special. Everything was meticulously clean, and you went above and beyond in the current circumstances. I’m so pleased I had the opportunity to come back and make more happy memories, and of course see Val and Keith again. Thank you for a lovely stay, you both do an incredible job and have created something very special at Coedllys.

A place like no other

Val and Keith are great hosts and really make you feel at home. The rooms are spotless and Val is coping with the covid extremely well. The breakfast was amazing and nothing is too much trouble for val. One of the best b and b we have ever stayed in

Fantastic bed and breakfast

Val and Keith are wonderful hosts and its always a pleasure to drive down to Coedllys.
The bedrooms are spotless, beautiful and I look forward to the fruit and little surprises that are waiting for you.
This really is one of the best bed and breakfasts around and a "Must visit" stopover.  We will be back..again!!

Stunning Country Bed and breakfast

A beautiful getaway surrounded by verdant hills spotted with sheep. The breakfast was slow cooked and flavorful. The cloud like mattresses and fluffy duvet felt like a gentle hug as you fell into a blissful sleep. The room was immaculately clean with a well stocked hospitality tray. The hosts were lovely and definitely deserving of all of their awards for an exceptional bed and breakfast. We also enjoyed loving on their rescue animals that they have onsite.

Beautiful 5 star getaway

We stayed in the Robin room having previously stayed here a couple of times.  Yet again a most wonderful stay, great hospitality but also given the time and space to relax.  

We stayed for two nights, and received a warm welcome by Val and the animals.  The choice for breakfast was excellent, and the tea and coffe facilities in the room, are the best I have seen.  

Little touches that set this B&B apart from others includes toileties availabe if you've forgotten anything, and snacks in the room including fruit, sweets and chocolate. 

Knowing that your stay at the B&B is helping to look after animals which have been rescued, is a bonus and being allowed to spend time with the animals is great.

If there was one thing we would change - it would be that we could never leave! 

Cannot wait until our next visit.

The best B&B we have stayed in

We stayed at Coedllys in the  Swallow room for 4 nights during the week- The room and house were impecable: all very nicely decorated avery comfortable bed and room with a lovely view. 

Val is very careful in details, just to mention a few, there were binoculars with a bird book by the window that you could use.  A bowl of fruits and candies. Also the soaps and body wash smelled great and there is even a basket  in the washroom with all sort of creams ,deodorant in case of need.

Val cooks  very good breakfasts and you have a big variety of jams for your toasts.

Last but not least Val and Keith are simply great people and hosts.A special thanks for Keith for having bought a birthday cake, for letting us feed animals (all their animals are rescued animlas) and for his great cooking.

Thanks to them for all that they have done, for all the nee furry friends that we met  and next trip to Wales ...we will definitely stop there again.

A lovely stay

Stayed at Coedllys for two nights over the weekend - received a very warm welcome from Val & Keith .We stayed in the Swallow room which was lovely with a nice big comfortable bed and lovely en-suite, but it wasnt all about the room, it was the lovely little touches, like a bowl of fruit and sweets in our room, we were overlooking the fields and there was even a pair of binoculars and a bird book so you could identify all the different birds from your window. The breakfast that Val cooks is amazing and I haven't seen so many jams to have with your toast my husband was in is element.
I would like to say a special thank you to Keith for allowing me to feed the animals before bedding them down for the night.and to my new furry friend who sat at my feet in the morning. just loved it..  So Val & Keith Thank you for a lovely stay and you are both amazing what you do for the animals oh and your guest ha ha!

First class hospitality

Great location and superb service . Nothing is too much trouble and breakfast was absolutely wonderful. I would throughly  recommended  as a place to visit when visiting this picturesque and quiet part of Wales.

Wonderful place

From the moment we arrived, we felt welcome and relaxed. The surroundings are so peaceful, filled with nature and wildlife. Val is a wonderful host and the breakfast is delicious. If we are ever in Wales again, we will definitely be staying at Coedllys Country house again. Thank you for a wonderful experience.

Beautiful stay

Val and Keith run an amazing bed and breakfast place. The house is nestled in a lovely lush valley. They have rescue animals too so we were met by chickens ducks and a peacock. Their two dogs(also rescued) were a little more reticent at first but soon came to know us and greet us with wagging tails. The bedroom was again spotless with every attention to detail one could imagine catered for. Breakfast is as little or as much as you want but is always delicious. The fruit compote and yogurt was an incredible start to the day.
