We went for an evening meal booked at really short notice on a Friday night. We had a party of 8. The staff were very busy but accommodated us brilliantly. Food was very good and locals seemed friendly too. Everyone enjoyed our visit. Will definitely return. 

Evening meal for 8

Amazing, simple room, nice staff and friendly regulars. Had an amazing time in our 2 single bed room and lovely breakfast with simple and easy breakfast card (which you fill out and give to a member of staff) and really nice food. Thank you for a lovely time. 

Brilliant

I had car problems and the AA could not collect me so put me up in a hotel for the night. The staff and customers could not have been more helpful and accommodating. Good food and all round service. They even contacted a local garage owner to try to help me get sorted sooner. Cannot thank them enough 😀

Unplanned but extremely pleasant stay

The room was adequate but in need of some updating.  A few cobwebs in the corners. Bathroom also needs updating.  The beds were comfortable though and the food was lovely.  The chef is really friendly and helpful.

Short break

We were staying locally at the Welsh Glamping site and the owners recommended we tried this place out for dinner and we were not disappointed! 

Dinner for 8 adults and 4 kids and they coped with us incredibly! Wonderful food, great service and great value, what more could you ask for?

Great dinner

We were a group of three motorcyclists and stayed for one night. Good value. Clean rooms and friendly staff. Good breakfast. Given this is a pub , I had a good quiet nights sleep. We would stay here again.

One night stay. Great value

My wife and I stayed here through work recently and what a wonderful small hotel it is. Clean and tidy and a warm welcome from the owner, staff and locals. Room was well equipped, tea, coffee, TV etc.

Breakfast is pre order the night before and was excellent with the owner and chef having excellent knowledge of food intolerances and was more than happy to cater for them. Food also available in the evening with a wide range of good homemade food ranging from pizza's, burgers, Lasagne and curry. 

Great stay all around. 



Fantastic stay 

Stayed whilst house hunting in the area & found the Belle View to be excellent value for money. Our room was warm and comfortable & the staff and locals were extremely welcoming & hospitable. The hotel is super dog friendly and the food, particularly the full cooked breakfast was outstanding. A super place to stay.

Lovely one night stay

We stayed here over the "Real Ale Ramble" weekend, comfortable rooms and very friendly welcoming staff. The bar area is cosy and comfortable.
Restaurant meals are excellent ,very tasty, and well presented , as is the ' Full English' breakfast  which is freshly cooked.
We've stayed here in the past and will definitely be back there again next year

A friendly hotel and bar

Yes this place is in need of a major refurb but the friendly and welcoming nature of the owner made up for that this weekend. Great parking facilities, a good old fashioned cooked breakfast and a pub downstairs that had a good atmosphere both nights. The room was slightly chilly when we arrived but there was an electric heater which was great. This place isn't high end but for us mountain bikers doing the real ale wobble this weekend I reckon it hit the spot. Locals in the bar seemed friendly and the owner made sure we felt welcome.
