Fantastic place to stay , beautiful rooms , lovely location and we had great views over the Loch. Good wee selection in fridge which was a bonus.No restaurant however we ate at the Onich hotel which was nice.Would highly recommend. 

Beautiful place to stay

Stayed here for 2 nights in the Junior Suite on the first floor. Check in was quick and easy, received a text message with the key box code around midday. Room was very clean and modern, there was also plenty of space. The view from the french doors was of the hills and ferry crossing over the sea, really nice. 
There were complimentary muffins, orange juice and yogurts left in the fridge which were really nice. The toiletries (Highland Soap Co) provided in the bathroom are absolutely lovely, we actually took a trip to the shop and bought some to bring back with us. 

Only small downsides for us were the pillows, they were very soft and flat, although additional pillows are provided, these were the same. The bed was also very creaky, the slightest movement woke me up in the middle of the night. The room also got incredibly warm, you are provided with a Dyson fan but unfortunately didn’t cool the room down as much as we’d hoped. 

Would highly recommend staying here!

Lovely stay - highly recommend

We chose this room based heavily on reviews.  We just needed a room for the night before heading to the airport early in the morning so the self catering option worked for us (it was adequate - instant coffee, yogurt, milk, orange juice and cold muffins).  Not being familiar with the area, it was a little too remote for us - the closest restaurant was approximately a 15 unite drive.

Our biggest complaint is with the room  - there was a sewage smell in the bathroom.  One of the patio doors was broken.  They took the time to type up a note stating it was broken and to screw a metal strip to keep it from being opened instead of fixing it.  The room is west facing and was very hot the afternoon we arrived.  It would have been nice to be able to open both doors to help cool it down and to dissipate the sewage smell.  Lastly, the pillows were very flat and insanely uncomfortable - I still have a neck ache from sleeping there.  The room appeared clean enough although there was a spider web in the bathroom window.

Just returned from a 2-night stay at the Corran, and we are already looking at the calendar, trying to figure out how and when we can get back up there! Location is absolutely stunning, right next to the slipway for the Corran - Ardgour ferry (the ferry crossing takes a couple of minutes and is free for cyclists and foot passangers).

Fort William and the Ben Nevis mountains are 20mins drive to the North, while Glencoe lies 20mins drive to the South. Having said that, there are some gorgeous walks, views and wildlife right on the Corran's doorstep!

We stayed in the Junior Suite on the first floor, which was more than adequately sized for the two of us. It boasts modern decor, as well as a very comfortable king-size bed, a snug sofa to sit and watch TV, an en-suite shower-room with WC and wash-hand basin, and a Juliette balcony overlooking the loch. There is no restaurant or breakfast facilities on-site. There is a pop-up caravan-cafe (serving hot and cold drinks, toasted sandwiches and pastries) on the opposite side of the loch. This sits in the carpark of the Inn at Ardgour which also has a restaurant and bar. Back on the Corran side of the loch, the Roam West restaurant and bar is only a 5min walk away.

I would say the Corran offers tremendous value for money in a truly amazing location and - as mentioned - we are eager to get back up to stay again!

The Corran self-catering accommodation - what a place!

We had a lovely stay at the Corran for our 22nd wedding anniversary. Very clean, comfortable and modern. Beautiful views of Loch and mountains - good location to visit The Highlands. Nice touch for fresh drinks, cakes and yoghurts for breakfast. Would recommend. thank-you

Excellent stay lovely location

Loved suite 1 …had everything you need and even little muffins, milk, fresh orange and yoghurts! Everything was just perfect, they even managed to organise a weekend spring sunshine!  Room was lovely and clean, Bed was really comfy, shower super hot….Thank you!

Cosy and relaxing

We have just returned from a three night stay in The Corran suite no. 1, and we're missing it already.

The Corran is very easy to find, just off the A82 following the signs for the Corran Ferry. There were plenty of parking spaces, right outside our room. Check in was very easy, we received a text with a code to access the room key within a locker, on the morning of our visit. When we arrived, we were not disappointed. The room is very spacious and stylish containing amongst other things a modern bathroom, comfortable bed, plenty of wardrobe and storage space, a corner sofa, two desks, refrigerator, TV and soundbar, kettle, tea & coffee making ingredients and biscuits etc. a hair dryer and a Dyson fan / heater amongst other things. It also had a private veranda area with patio furniture.  I'm sure I have missed things, it basically has everything you need and more! The room was perfect, much more spacious than you would expect for the price and very luxuriously kitted out too. So if you are using it for more than just a base, it will be perfect. As a base it is perfect too. It has stunning views out of the bi-fold doors leading on to the veranda, of Loch Linnhe & the ferry just a bit more than a stones throw away, which goes back & forth across the loch for 15 hours a day, and you can ride as a foot passenger or cyclist back and forth as many times as you like for free (£9.00 to take your car), it really was a little treat to find this so close to the venue.
The hospitality was perfect too. We knew that the adjacent restaurant was closed and the communication from the host was great on this point, and we knew we'd booked room only, so it was a very pleasant surprise to find muffins, biscuits, milk, orange juice, water and yoghurts in the small fridge, and even more pleasing when whatever had been used was replenished each day, a really nice and unexpected touch.
All in all, I would highly recommend staying here, it is in a stunning setting, has class of it's  own in it's decour, and the host enhanced the stay with their nice little touches and made it hassle free. Thank you. 😁

Perfect room with a stunning view.

Booking was simple and the contact free check in worked well for us, we  phoned in the morning  to ask when we’d get the code for the key and a text was sent soon after. Our room was on the ground floor, it was very clean and comfortable and had all we needed for a relaxing night’s stay.  The complimentary breakfast was appreciated, muffins, yoghurts, milk, water and orange juices, but we had brought our own overnight porridge with us, so took the muffins and yoghurts home, as we don’t eat these for breakfast.  The bed was comfy and we both slept well.  The room and bathroom was warm and cosy.  Complimentary toiletries were high quality and the towels were excellent. The shower was a tad too hot and we had a problem reducing the heat, but better that than not hot enough.
The location was great, the view from the room was lovely and it was interesting to watch the ferry arriving and leaving.  We decided to go to the pub for an evening’s drink,  the pub is across the water by the ferry.  It was free to pedestrians in January 2022 and we enjoyed the experience, good job, as when we got across to the other side, a matter of minutes, we found the pub was closed, so we took the return ferry back.  So I’d check it’s open if you’re banking on it for an evening meal, in the winter many places are closed, including the restaurant at the hotel.
I’d definitely go back to The Corran and will recommend it as a great place to stay for a night or two.

Perfect views, highly recommended

This was our second visit to this hotel this year & we were just as thrilled as the first visit in May. The first visit we had one of the larger ground floor rooms that had a private beck area & we loved that room but they only had the smaller first floor dooms so we were not sure if these would be as good, but we loved this room too. Although the room was smaller it was very nice & still had a seating area & a excellent bathroom & the views from the Romeo & Juliet balcony were stunning & worth it just for that. It’s a great location with lots to see & do very close to there, there is ample private parking too. It’s a shame the attached restaurant is closed & hoping on our next visit that it will be open. Will definitely be back
