Beautiful luxury studio apartment

During our relocation back to the UK, we stayed at Lion Gate Mews for 2 months. Was meant to just be for a month, but we ended up extending for an extra month due to some personal circumstances. 

I really can't remember how I stumbled on this gem of a serviced apartment, but we were looking for a self catering apartment where we could cook since we had to go into quarantine upon arrival. 
Upon arrival, Mark arranged everything we needed and upgraded our room to the next category as he knew we had to quarantine and the room we booked might have been small. Everything from service, to the cooking utensils, to the washing machine (downstairs) to all the gadgets was in perfect working condition. The rooms were very spacious with nice beddings and bath amenities. Cleaning was done once a week and oh my ..you can't go wrong with the location.
The location of this place is Spot on.. Right by the the entrance of Bushy Park & Hampton Court Palace and 5 minute bus to Kingston High Street, you really cannot go wrong.. 
A BIG thanks to Mark and his team for making us feel at home during the last few weeks and we will be sure to refer all our friends who visit London looking for a perfect serviced apartment close to Hampton Court Palace.

Excellent Serviced Apartment next to Hampton Court Palace & Bushy Park

This is a fantastic location to stay. Just outside the main building is the bus stop for 111 or 216 or 411 to Kingston upon Thames Shopping Mall. Only 2 stops 5 mins and you’re right in the main high street and John Lewis and Waitrose as well. Lovely modern and clean apartments done very tastefully. Had fridge, dish washer and washing machine/ dryer which was the reason why we chose to stay here so we can catch up on some washing as well as eat in a few nights rather than going to eat out. There is loads of restaurants to eat within 10 mins walk. Best thing is that we are close to Bushy Park and Hampton Court Palace Garden. Have the lovely Hampton Court bridge and the train station 10 mins walk that goes to Waterloo Station. Very convenient and great location. 1 bedroom apartment on the Bushy Park side faces the back which has the best view of deers running around and quiet to sleep. Away from the Main Street in the front room where the kitchen dining and lounge is. Will definitely stay here again. Highly recommend this place to stay. 

A week in London 

We visit the area a few times a year to visit family so the location was great for us, practically in Hampton court gardens and close to the amenities of the shops, bars and restaurants. The apartments themselves are modern, clean and have all the mod cons you’d expect in a self catering apartment. 
We stayed in the Henry vIII apartment and I had read that it had double king sized beds, which I was excited about due to being heavily pregnant, but it actually felt smaller then my standard double bed. The family bathroom bath/shower filled with water during a shower so needed to be left for a good while to be used by someone else after. Also, the double room without en-suite, which I was in, didn’t have a mirror in it so you had to get ready in the family bathroom, which seemed odd. All in all it was a successful trip, I would stay again and I would recommend. 

Modern Apartments  

We stayed here for 2 nights. Brilliantly located for Hampton Court Palace, as the title suggests part of accommodation is practically within the Palace grounds. A lot of the palace grounds are free to enter for most of the day.
Great base for our short trip away, one day at the Palace and the other day in London. 5-10 mins away from the train station which is only 30 mins journey from Waterloo and £11 return.
The rooms are named after things associated with Henry VIII, we stayed in Anne Boleyn.

Practically Part of the Palace

The two-bedroom apartment is clean, comfortable and suitable for a family. The kitchen contains the equipment needed. The location is generally okay. The negative point that we have not been informed about the laundry wash machine which is located in the reception section.

Nice place

Had another great experience staying here, the location is amazing; Right by the entrance to Hampton Court Palace and opposite the entrance to Bushy Park.
The host is great and overall the apartment is fantastic.
The apartment had everything required to make our stay comfortable. 
Will definitely be staying here again.   The apartment is very, clean spacious and well equipped.
Brilliant location, 20 second walk to the bus stop to get to Kingston Upon Thames for great shopping and night life. 
8 minute walk to Hampton Court train station, which can be done through Hampton Court palace, when open.  
Also just over Hampton Court bridge is Hampton Court itself, which has a lovely parade of shops with many eateries and if I remember correctly 3 bars as well. 
Oh, the pub close to Lion gate Mews has recently reopened, The Kings Arms, which serves a good selection of food.

Great stay with all amenities provided

I stayed with my family (daughter, son-in-law, 2 young grandsons) for four nights in early August.  We had the 2 bedroom/2bath Henry VIII flat.  It was absolutely fantastic.  Enough room for all of us, everything we needed in the kitchen and even access to laundry facilities.  Immaculately clean and even toiletries were furnished, which I did not expect.  Your backyard is quite literally the Wilderness Area of Hampton Court Palace.   It is a 5 minute walk to the train station and then a 31 minute ride to Waterloo Station in London.  The manager, Mark, was very helpful and friendly and made sure we had all we needed during our stay.  I will most definitely stay again on future trips to London.  I can't think of a single thing about staying here that I didn't like.

Fantastic location, Extremely Comfortable

We visited on Saturday to see the last night concert. The welcome was wonderful and very personal. Apartment exactly as advertised. Clean tidy and we'll equipped. Plenty of tea and coffee. Bed very comfortable. Parking outside door of apartment and very safe.  Will visit again

Hampton court music festival

Stayed in the Anne Boleyn room next to reception which is a studio room. It’s fantastic for visiting Hampton court palace like I was as its right next door. The studio was great, comfortable, practical and  a very nice place to stay. Mark the owner is very helpful and the self check in and out was very easy. The tiny niggle I had was there was coffee in the room but no tea. Other than that I had a wonderful stay and would stay again.
