Period building.
What was bad
Room needs renovation. Very tired and run down. The bathroom facilities have just been patched up where broken or cracked. Lamps don't work. Much better hotels available for similar price, with more modern rooms.

The shower was very tiny. I actually coudnt barely move in it. It was incredibly tiny even though Im a petite lady. The room I had at the very top of steep stairs could be an issue for some people trying to lug a case up there.

The location was spot on. The receptionist was very helpful with our inquiries.
What was bad
Extremely dated, and dirty. But to be fair £60pn for one person for this location was ok. Heating wasn’t working but there was an electric heater. Definitely next time I plan to visit London I would pay extra for something better.

Just the location.

cleaning, mainly in the bathroom, attendance at reception and several other things, such as no place to leave luggage while we wait for check in
if you want you have to leave the luggage exposed to anyone at the main entrance, where they have a warning saying they are not responsible for anything. The breakfast is very poor, my wife and I could not eat it. There are better hotels on the same street. I do not recommend!
