We booked a one night stay to watch our son running in the Kew Gardens half marathon. Our room was comfortable, quiet, nicely furnished with a modern and sparkling clean bathroom. A small bottle of fresh milk in the fridge was really appreciated too. The hotel rooms are adjoined to a busy pub, which on first appearances may make you wonder if you are in the right place. But, walk through the pub entrance into the hotel part of the building and if Alicja is on duty you will have the most amazing customer service. We needed to leave our bags as we arrived mid morning - this was no problem and by the time we returned later in the afternoon they had already been placed in our room. We were also able to have a breakfast and coffee ‘to go’ the following morning as the race began quite early before normal breakfast service. And this combined with Alicja’s friendly and engaging service throughout and an extra hour to checkout we were extremely impressed.
