It's so bad its funny.

Got a phone call the night before (22:10) to say we are looking forward for me coming.

The stairs upto the room was filthy, (floors, walls, bansters, everywhere)
The room was amazingly bad, lock was naked and needed a pond shop bolt to make it safe ish. No light in the bathroom so couldn't see how bad it was but the toilet wasn't fixed to the wall properly. Camp bed would be better and cleaner. I haven't see a TV this small since the 90's. The TV remote was snapped in half and tapped up. The walls have different colours painted patches. 

I would recommend just sleep on the train platform. 

The beds have no mattress protector, it is hard with springs that’s are visible to the eye, interior old fashioned and neglected, key locks broken and hanging off door, carpet full of stains, so is bed, walls and curtains, draft from windows, noisy from traffic outside and people walking and slamming doors inside. Wall plaster falling off, furniture old and deteriorating . The place itself feels unsafe and spooky. Please avoid at all costs! Worst hotel I have ever walked into. We had to leave almost immediately!

0 STARS!!! AVOID AVOID AVOID

Had really bad experience last time I stayed here but thought I’d give it another go. Deffo better communication this time and feel better experience. It’s not the ritz or the plaza - it’s quite run down but all I needed was a nights sleep somewhere cheap and that’s what I got. Can’t complain really. 

Cheap and cheerful 

This picture looks nothing like the room we had!!!! On arrival the man behind reception kindly carried out suitcase to our room. We only saw him once again during our two night stay. The hall, stairs and landing carpet needed a good hovering and replacing as did the one in our room. The room was VERY small seeing as it was a double and single room. Double bed was a small double bed and single was a put-you-up bed, if there were three people in this room we would not have been able to move. There were no bedside tables or lamps so nowhere to put your drink/book/glasses. Double bed was hard against the wall, under the window and blocking the radiator. The bed was very hard and uncomfortable. They supplied tea/coffee/sugar/milk and biscuits but these were not topped up the next day, room wasn't serviced at all. They did supply bottles of water as you couldn't drink the water. The shower room was extremely small, basin had no plug, toilet seat was not attached and dangerous, infact it fell off. My husband was unable to use the shower cubicle as it was too small. Possibly one of the worst hotels we have stayed in in over forty years!!!! NO WE WILL NOT BE RETURNING!!!

DO NOT GO!!!!

We visited the hotel with my family. We had a wonderful stay at the hotel. We arrived early at the hotel and staff let us leave the luggage at the hotel and return later in the day for check in. The hotel also offers online check in.
We had a great communication with all the hotel representatives through a telephone number they are providing to guests. The room was warm enough and there is hot water all day. The are offering a klettle with coffe, sugar, tea bags and water. The hotel is about 10 minutes walking from 3 metro stations: Hammersmith, Sheperd's Bush and Goldhawk tube stations. There are a lot of mini markets, grocery stores and restaurants around the hotel.
We were very satisfied with our stay at Orlando hotel.

Great budget friendly hotel close to Hammersmith station.

Little rough around the edges but clean and tidy in the rooms. 
Beds/pillows were comfy and linen fresh. 
Fan and heater in the room. 
Working TV.
Great amount of tea/coffee provided, kettle was squeaky clean.

We had room 12, twin with en-suite. 
Take the negative reviews with a pinch of salt. 

You will need a code to get into the property (it’s emailed to you) so make sure you have access to this.

We were given a courtesy call by the staff to make sure we had checked in alright! 


Great budget friendly and comfy!

Me and my boyfriend went to stay here 28th October 2023, we were brought to our room and had to end up leaving and booking another hotel nearby instead. It is absolutely filthy. We were brought to the basement. Our room was like a jail cell, the door had no lock, we cudnt open the window and the public bathroom was pretty much in our room. The worst we have ever seen, very unsafe, extremely dirty and uncomfortable. 

Worst ever

I was in London to watch the England v Italy football match I stayed in a single en-suite and found it to be a perfectly adequate stay. The hotel is a little rough around the edges, but this is reflected in the price. Some of the bad reviews are completely unjustified. There are those who want to pay a budget price but expect a high end hotel, when their expectations aren't matched they complain on TripAdvisor rather than taking up the matter with the hotel directly.
Orlando was clean and well located, a short walk to Hammersmith underground which is a nice part of London - not too far from the centre.
I would stay here again

Perfectly adequate stay in a nice part of London close to the tube and not far from Zone 1

Arrived later than arrival time (16:20). Room was not ready, then we were informed that our room was not ready because they had the fire brigade at our room due to the previous guests smoking in the room. Obviously we were annoyed as we had some here to be at 6pm and needed to shower and get ready. We were told we could leave our bags in the room and wait outside. As we walked up the stairs we could smell such a distinct smell of smoke, the room was still smoky,
And was absolutely filthy. Had dirty clothes and underwear on the floor. There were used contraception products in the floor toilet was absolutely disgusting. And the room was 1/4 of the size that was advertised which was laughable. A double bed and single bed shoved into the worlds smallest room! We immediately declined to stay in this room and the manager was less than helpful at this stage he said they were fully booked and there was nothing he could do to help. I informed him that we would be calling booking.com to arrange for another hotel. He had mentioned that they Owned the hotel next door I asked if we could stay there and he said there were no rooms left. I quickly looked on booking.com and found that it had two rooms and a studio left for less money than what we had paid for the shoebox originally. He then decided he was going to help us get a room next door, either way booking.Com was going to arrange this for us anyway. Thankfully he managed to swap us to the hotel next door and it was much better. Very clean and tidy and a lot more secure. I’m glad we didn’t stay at hotel Orlando and I would  never recommend anyone staying there 

Filthy, run down dump 

It's a 'dump' in one word. What you see is NOT what you get. You can't get into the property unless another guest happens to be passing and puts the code in for you. A mobile phone will be required to get into your room. The photos that you see are from the previous owner and reflect the high standard at that time ( 10 to 12 years ago ) This is not a 2-star hotel as shown in their photos, staff are non-existent. If you are expecting a full English breakfast, forget it..!!!   We tried to get all of our money back. They offered us 10% of the full payment for 4 guests but we refused it, we were so disgusted.
