I stayed at the Hilton London Olympia to celebrate my daughter’s 13th birthday. Upon arrival we were able to check in earlier and were thrilled to hear that our room had been upgraded and the room had been decorated specially for my daughter’s birthday with balloons and banners. There was the added extra of some cake and a card for my daughter as well which she was over the moon with. This was such a special touch which was so greatly appreciated by the both of us and really made the arrival feel special. Thank you to Sam (I think) who arranged this for us and checked us in. The room was lovely and clean and had all the facilities you could hope for. The beds and bed linen was comfortable after long days exploring the city. The bathroom was equally as lovely and clean. The room was slightly too warm for our comfort but the air con worked reasonably. The breakfast buffet was incredible. A great variety of food choices, both hot and cold. There was vegetarian sausages on offer which were delicious, as well as vegan yoghurts and milk alternatives. Coffee and juice options were aplenty also, however I would have liked a decaf coffee option which didnt seem to be on offer. The herbal teas were a lovely alternative nevertheless. Staff very polite and accommodating, good service and it was handy that they put a card on your table to let other diners know your table is reserved whilst your access the buffet which is helpful. Reasonable location, and great value for money. There are tube stations close by and within the local area but expect to hop on and off of the tube travel into the city. Overall a fabulous stay and I hope to return in the future.
