I’ve recently had to cancel my reservation due to the travel restrictions/ban the country has implemented. I tried to get refunded and or get credited for my reservation which Courtfield Gardens Apartment refuse to honor. It is sad that they are not refunding/crediting their customers for their cancellations as this is something customers had no choice of doing...I feel that they are taking advantage of their customers due to this pandemic situation. If I only knew this would happen I would if never booked with them, my money was completely taken with very little excuse from their management.

Taking advantage of customers

I will start from the end - I did not sleep in this property eventually.
I booked the apartment long time prior to my arrival, and payed the requested deposit. The correspondance with the owner was fine, and I got answers to my questions. About 2 months before my arrival, I asked her something regarding late checkout, and recieved the answer that it won't be possible. Totally ligitemate so far. However, at this point, the owner probably decided I ask to many questions, and tried to give me an education lesson by email. I realized that accomodating there might be unpleasant, and cancelled my booking. From now on, the owner wasn't reachable be e-mail. I asked/reminded few times her to refund my deposit, and guess what - no comment. Luckily I booked through booking.com, and they refunded me instead after several weeks. I understand from other reviews that the apartment is nice and has benefits, yet, you don't let a client chasing you for money you owe him, no matter what.
I found easily a great apartment instead, without such issues...
