We booked a 4 night stay at The Milestone apartments and after reading some terrible reviews about people who had turned up only to find there was no room for them, I decided to contact them to check our booking was secure. I received no answer and started to worry. 
I did some research and realised they had changed their name to Mondrian apartments. I emailed Mondrian about my booking - no reply. I had booked via a booking site so I contacted their help desk and they made enquiries. They got back to me saying they could not get hold of the apartments and that they had now removed them from their site due to fraudulent activity.
So basically, they have made off with several hundred dollars of mine then conveniently changed their name.

Do not book!

Good place and exceptionally clean apartment.

Business was at London Metropolitan University which is literally 15 minutes down the road (past that giant monstrosity of an Arsenal stadium).

Working aircon and smart t.v. came in handy. So did the washer dryer in the basement kitchen.

Area is a bit rundown nowadays, but there's shops and food outside. Breakfast at Le Croissant d'Or is 6 quid with coffee or a soft drink, and the place is literally one block down.

Dropped one point for the housekeeper who knocked and entered without waiting for an answer.

Would definitely come again.

Does the job

Lisa the lady on reception rang us when we where on our way to make sure we where ok . The appartments are scrubbed clean and have everything needed to stay for a few nights . excellent tv and lovely soft warm clean modern bed and bedding. beautiful tiled room and high speck bathroom. iron and board towels and fan provided for the warm nights. kitchen provided all you need. we went there for the festivals that are held over the summer but stayed longer to have a nose round London. so near the central of London, hard to park anywhere but thats just London . the place is hidden and secure and quite from the main road . would definatly recommend to anyone . 
Lisa is lovely and well manered lady who will look after all your need . Give her a bonus for her polite and lovely way she treats all that stay. very quiet and no rowdy guest. brilliant for families too. cant thank Lisa enough will stay again next year promise . see ya soon

just loved our stay ,  it cant fault

Horrendous Customer Service - cancelled our booking for 4 people over a week before Wireless festival due to 'refurbishments' and haven't returned our money. We are nearly £500 out of pocket as we have had to book something else before our refund. Lisa is incredibly rude and was unapologetic when I voiced my concerns - I continually ring the office number but there is no answer every time and can't leave a message because mailbox is full. Nobody answers the alternative mobile number. If you want a stressful, inconvenient trip to London and want to be significantly out of pocket then I 100% recommend Milestone Apartments, London.

DO NOT BOOK

Friendly staff, quick check in but would have been nice to have been shown the apartment instead of “Down the hall on the right”......area around the apartment is awful but it was Finsbury Park! The apartment was clean, tidy & justified £60 per night. Was noisy 8am-6pm due to building work next door. Would recommend for the price but pay extra for somewhere else. Plus point is near the almighty Arsenal...COYGs!! 

Get-Away Break

We stayed here this weekend and were happy with our stay. Staff on duty were extremely friendly and attentive, however upper level managerial staff lacked communication to there employees making check-in problematic. (We arrived as communicated for check-in at 2pm however managers on the phone to reception staff refused to tell them which room number we were meaning we couldn't check in until 3pm!). Despite this, the room was relatively clean and spacious, good price for London. The only other faults we picked up on were lack of soundproofing to outer corridor and room smelling of cigarette smoke. However for the price we paid it was generally good value and excellent location into central London. Would absolutely consider staying here again.

Attenditive staff and good value for London

A very late review! But better late than never. 

I stayed here in the Summer of 2017 when I went to wireless festival and I figured as people will probably be going back this year and looking at reviews and would like to know it from a teenagers P.O.V. I was 16 when I stayed here and my other three friends were 17. 

We found the hotel was so nice and very modern looking. It was perfect for attending the festival as was no more than a ten minute walk and even meant we could have fun in the day and know we were staying at a good place at night. 

The kitchen facilities were so useful especially as there was a small Tesco opposite. I felt very safe here and always got a good night sleep. Also there was such a cute cat in the lobby, which is always a bonus. 

I didn't talk to the staff often but when I did they were friendly and were willing to serve us. 

If you are like me and are planning on staying here going to a festival or football game then I would say good for it and you'd be guaranteed a nice stay. Overall a great place and would definitely recommend if you needed a hotel in the area.

Very Nice and Lovely little place!

We booked this place well in advance of our stay only to be told on the morning that we couldn’t stay due to boiler issues. (Via email). They then said they had booked us into another hotel which was a further 4 miles away. We booked parking near the new hotel at 55 pounds. Then when we go to the other one we received an email at 2:30pm saying there were no rooms at the other hotel either. We went into the new hotel and they said they hadn’t even heard from the other hotel. When we called the man was very rude and unhelpful and told us we can have a refund but would need to book our own new hotel. He also refused to reimburse us for any other costs or send us any local hotels we could use. We then had to spend an hour on the phone to the booking company who sorted us out brilliantly but were then in a massive rush to get to our event and also had paid for parking for nothing. Terrible service and I would never use this place again. Avoid at all costs.
