Sammy and his partner Belinda are excellent ,relaxed and very welcoming hosts.
We like room 6 or 2 because they have nice views
 (room 2 is a family room and bay window ,on first floor ..room 6 small double room With lovely views on top floor ).
Sammy always offers to help with cases .
Lovely Doris is so nice and she is the front of house waitress we’ve known for a while there always checking if you want more tea,coffeee,food etc…very chatty too,the others are nice too.
The rooms are clean ,plenty of tea,coffee etc…
Clean towels are provided daily .
We cannot fault anything ,we love the relaxed &friendly atmosphere.
The parking is on a pay n display 24hr car park over the bridge …Millpond we use ,about £9.70p per 24hrs. Our car or cw van has always been fine  left there (11 days this time).
The shops and bus stops are very close by to use.
10/10 for everything 
This place is a 💎 gem .
There are about 15 -20steps up to entrance of guest house and then a further 13 to first floor the. A further 13 to second floor which could  be a bit difficult if your mobility is limited 
The prices Sammy charges are very reasonable indeed and what you get is very good value for money indeed.

Perfect position ,hosts, and clean 😊

Lovely room, with a view over the river/Looe Bridge. Perfect for an overnight stay. The website booking system implied there was no availability for a 1 night stay, but this was agreed when I emailed directly. Check-in was straightforward and the breakfast was good

Great overnight stay

Spent one night here when walking the SWCP.  We had a twin room on the top floor, which was clean, comfortable and had a lovely view over the harbour.  Breakfast was very good (especially the muesli) and there was plenty of choice.  Wi-Fi worked well.
Sammy (the owner) was great, as was everyone else who worked there.  It was great value too so I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it.

Really friendly helpful staff who couldn't do enough to help and assist.plentyful tea and coffee in rooms and a bottle of water to.comfy bed and room.one of the best breakfasts i have had,with cereal,toast,and tea and coffee.all in all a lovely place for our break

A real old style family guest house,in a lovely setting

Very homely.
Sammy and Belinda really do look after you well.
The rooms are clean and comfortable.
Excellent position for buses,town,beach ,harbour,shops  and nice walks.
We love it here,stayed 4 times.

We love it’s position, the views,breakfast and cleanliness!
Sammy is an excellent host along with his partner Belinda.. Doris the waitress is a Gem,she makes sure you have plenty to eat and makes sure all is ok .
This place is so friendly,homely and yes our room (6) isn’t that big ..But it’s perfect for us,as is all you want is somewhere to sleep ,shower and rest a little .
The room as well as previous rooms we’ve had is always very clean ,fresh bottled water everyday and clean towels too.
Room 6 has a great view over the harbour .
Breakfast is excellent and plenty of it.
WE CANNOT FAULT THIS PLACE .

Just to reiterate what other reviewers have written This place is the cats pyjamas Stayed in room 7 at the very top of the house It afforded an excellent view of the harbour area and was steeped in sunshine and tastefully decorated Breakfast was the usual fayre, a full English cooked to perfection Our hosts were very pleasant We would most certainly stay again x

Brilliant

What a lovely little guest house - Great location and reasonably priced accordingly. Our room/bathroom was a little compact but had a room looking out over the water and it was very comfortable. There was no parking due to location but cheap car park a 5 min walk across the bridge - 

Sam and his team were great. So friendly and accommodating - Breakfast was lovely and the little bar (when open) was great ..

Would return and would recommend

One thing to note - there are a lot of stairs up from the pavement to the guesthouse so may not suit all

Lovely stay here

Very clean and extremely friendly, Sammy was an excellent  Host and made sure everyone was looked after.
The accommodation is an old building but well looked after.
We had a family room (no5) located at the back, no view but I was there to sleep.
Room very clean and a nice powerful shower.
Do not book this place if you have an issue with stairs.
Many to climb. 

Excellent Host

Our 3rd stay at Bridgeside. Sammy is a great host, always asking if everything is OK and what we've been up to which shows he cares.  We love room 2, a family room (double and single overlooking to bridge, harbour and river) and we are happy to pay a little more to have it for just 2 of us to sit and watch Looe unfolding in front of us. Breakfast always freshly cooked and lovely, it is one of the only places where I will drink the tea as it is good, and I am fussy! The steps to the front, and inside, are steep but Sammy is insistent on helping with bags to help and the view is well worth a little extra effort.  Will revisit.
