Stayed here for 3 nights in March on floor 5. Prepaid parking at nearby Sainsbury’s  carpark, not far away.
Small room but ok. View of front of hotel…u so noisy with traffic if window open… which ,even in March ,had to be due to the room being so warm. A fan was provided though.
Really comfy bed and ok wall mounted tv. 
It was quiet, even though we were near the lift, and we weren’t disturbed when the sign was on the door. ( sounds mad but we have had SO many knocks on the door for room cleaning when “ Do Not Disturb” sign on door.). 
Reception on 2nd floor but lift bypassed this straight down to ground floor. 
Not far from anywhere and would recommend if in the area.

Ok but very warm room… so beware in Summer.

On arrival, Tracy was very pleasant on reception. Room topped up as requested, lovely clean spacious room looking over the canal. Staff all really helpful throughout my stay, and Sarah really pleasant when I checked out. Would recommend.

Weekend stay - visiting family

I had the most amazing experience, very helpful staff accommodating my extra night stay keeping me in the same room. for ease, polite and always greet on passing.have already booked my next visit and happy to recommend to friends and family. only fault is parking is pricey

Meeting family

The hotel is clean and most staff appear to be friendly. 
I have stayed here numerous times for long stays because of convenience and cost.
When it comes to service it is a completely different thing. 
Requests for extra towels etc are fairly straightforward. 
Please be aware if you are visibly muslim. At least one person there is prejudiced.  The manager. She would not look me in the eye or reply my greetings again and again.  She also refused my valid requests very blankly and told me she did not care if I complained to her seniors.. The staff are sometimes slow or for some reason forget or ignore some of the big requests like requests for a room clean during a 10 day stay. 
I'm not sure what role the manager plays in this.
When you go to a hotel for a personal but unavoidable stay, you mind your business, smile say hello when meeting staff and don't make unreasonable requests,  you naturally expect some courtesy and  willingness to assist. 
Please don't expect it here.



Manager is awful

My experience was enjoyable and pleasant. I will be willing to recommend friends and family to also have the same pleasant experience. i would love to visit again if I need to stay overnight in loughborough.

Travelodge experience

Rude manager in Leslie who has no business interacting with customers, needed to change rooms ended up requesting a refund because the manager was so disrespectful, constantly  cutting me off as I explained my issue, would never go back

Very poor management 

Great location near to bars & restaurants. Not too far from university.
No parking - bit of a pain and the ncp charges £9 a day - rip off, but thats not the hotels fault. My room looked over the town, quite pretty at night. Didnt have any issues and the staff on reception were friendly

No problems

Very poor service, no towels in the bathroom, had to ask for tea, coffee, milk, sugar etc, bins not emptied even when the sign was put on the door. Only one of the two card keys worked. Landing area dirty. Drinking mug had the handle glued on. 

Very poor quality, not the best I have stayed at. 

I read the reviews and was really worried when my company booked me in here - I dont know what these people have experience but my stay was lovely. The staff were really friendly and the room was clean, what more do you want for a place to stay 

A Good Place to Stay 

Stayed here twice previously with no issues. On this occasion the room was sub standard and we were charged double the price due to freshers week. Sheets were ripped, bathroom was smelly, shower curtain was dirty, the room was roasting with only one fan, no toilet roll and not enough towels. Simple things not done right.
