Great check in

We stayed here so we could visit the Black Country Museum, which is a 15-20 min walk away. 

Rooms were clean & spacious, check in staff were great. 

Located next to a Hungry Horse, also McDonald’s 5 mins walk away & a leisure park with various other restaurants nearby.

Great location

As a regular premier inn customer I really enjoyed my stay. Only thing that knocked a star down was due to the run down on the rooms, I understand these cost etc, however, it did have mould in my room on the ceiling in the bathroom. 

But the nice surprise for my daughter on arrival into the room was an animal hunt, which she loved and they got a prize for finding the animal and the prize was a doll. I have never experienced this at a premier inn before, so that is amazing and thank you! 

Good price, child friendly, good location, and friendly staff.

Lovey stay for our family

All basic needs were met when we went here. Breakfast was delicious, the beds were comfy, the room was clean and the staff were very friendly. The reason I have put 4 stars is because in our room, there was a crack in the toilet and the shower was leaky. Also, whenever you would flush the toilet, the shower stopped the water flow. But, overall, it was an ideal place to stay. If your room is on the right side, you will be able to see Dudley Castle!

Our stay at the Dudley Premier was well below expected standards. The room hadn't been cleaned (or was still occupied by someone else), the heating didn't work and the staff failed to make up the kids beds.  The service was very poor - it was as if we were an inconvenience to the staff. The Manager, Steven Exley, promised us a full refund but more than 2 months on we haven't received a penny. We have phoned Steven and other managers several times, we have contacted the call centre and I have sent several emails. The phone line usually disconnects, the staff promise to call back (but don't). We have had no one response to emails.

VERY POOR still waiting for a refund

We had a Group of people knocked out door few times around 11.30 in the night kids woke up and we are all scared to life. I tried to call the reception but no answer to the call. We were scared to open the door. And kids do t sleep for long time after they woke up and they felt scared to sleep.

Not a safe place to stay

This Inn was satisfactory and just as you would expect from a Premier Inn.
We had breakfast here which was served to us by very pleasant staff.
We stayed here to visit the Black Country Museum for which it is very convenient (walking distance).

The room was big and airy and working air con were all positives how we flooring badly stained as was the seat pad of the chair I choose the meal deal and for £18 this was poor quality and very limited choice overall for
£108 I expect a little better

Didn’t live up to expectations

Our room was perfectly acceptable for a budget hotel.
However, the breakfast which we paid £10each for each breakfast was abysmal.
Cheap cereal, toasters that just take forever to cook. The cooked breakfast was congealed eggs, boiled mushrooms, bacon that was so overdone it would snap. Nothing cooked well. 
Next day tried pancakes and wife tried crumpets, no taste to pancakes, crumpets were so dry they were cracked! So 3rd day went back to full breakfast, it was no better than before. Awful.
This is an in-house cafe. Would much rather visit a proper place to eat. Please give us the choice.
The staff were friendly enough.

Not great

We chose this hotel because it had air con and we were touring around the midlands during a rare heatwave, so everywhere was oppressively hot. Room was the usual, quite comfortable and clean. I do think that some of the prices are getting a bit steep and at £95 for one night you don’t get a lot for your money compared to some of the cheaper and similar priced hotels that we visited during this holiday. If it wasn’t for the essential air con we would have tried somewhere with a bit more character. However there was plenty of parking, a Hungry Horse next door and other eating places within a few minutes walking distance and Black Country museum and zoo a couple of minutes drive, so well located for Dudley and it’s attractions.
