We spent 3 nights which was pleasant although the television was a joke tiny and blurry !  Although we asked for a kingsize bed it was two singles pushed together . Breakfast varied each day and was just ok !! My only other grumble is we were asked to put a time of arrival which we did to find out the hosts were out shopping they did have a key box which they talked us through and we could get in  but what’s the point in giving time slot if they’re ignored ! The place itself was spotless and en suite nice but small the place needs a revamp but it was ok .

Lovely hosts

We stayed in the Lymington room for 5 nights and we really enjoyed our stay. We would recommend to everyone. Wendy and Stefan were absolutely lovely, very friendly and welcoming. Our room was a very good size, light and airy. It was beautifully decorated and cleaned thoroughly every day, room was immaculate. Breakfast was delicious and locally sourced. We were given a set of Keys for the porch/front door so that we could come and go as we pleased and had allocated parking. Perfect location with Lyndhurst town only a 5 minute walk away. Perfect stay

Recently stayed here for a weekend on our 6 monthly girlie meet ups. A beautiful little home from home retreat for us. Hosts were lovely, breakfast yummy, the room was spotless and very comfortable. It's set in a perfect location, just a short walk into the town centre. Lots of lovely places to eat out. Perfect place to stay. Will definitely book again in the future.

Beautiful little B&B

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Little Hayes, the room was clean and tidy with a nice view. The owners couldn't do enough to make sure we had the best stay. Breakfast was delicious and they catered for my food allergies.Very convenient for all shops and restaurants and of course the great outdoors.  Would definitely recommend.

Excellent stay

An excellent, traditional b&b offering a perfectly pleasant place to stay in an attractive part of the country. Our room was comfortable and well equipped and the shower, whilst small, worked well.

Not a place for those searching modern flair and the road noise could represent a problem but we enjoyed our visit. Breakfast was well cooked.

Traditional B&B

Our room was large but with 1980s pine furniture. The shower room was tiny, but adequate with a good shower. Or room faced the road, and it is a very busy road, so we were woken very early. Breakfast was between 8and 9 so all 10 residents were crowded into the small and most definitely not socially distanced breakfast room at the same time, with no adequate ventilation. I felt that if anyone in the room had the virtual I would definitely catch it. The cooked breakfast was nice and good quality. The coffee, orange juice and bread weren't. The most bizarre touch was when we came to check out and the owner announced, with no prior warning, that he didn't accept cards! We can all accept cards on our phones these days if we want to! All in all it's not a bad B&B but it's happy to stay stuck in the 1980s and, I think, really needs to try a bit harder, particularly regarding Covid transmission.

We had four nights at Little Hayes 
Wendy and Stefan were very welcoming they fully explained about keys ,breakfast car parking and use of the garden 
The keys included a 10% discount tab to various outlets and eateries .
Our room was spotless well equipped with comfortable bed and chairs 
Hangers in the wardrobe and a power shower and hairdryer in the en suite.
Towels were changed at our request.. 
Breakfast was a full menu  and cooked fresh for each person 
Nothing was too much trouble for Wendy and Stefan and they recommended a local pub within 10 mins walk from the B&B called The Waterloo Inn
Little Hayes is a 10 min walk from Lyndhurst where you will find  traditional shops  and cafes.
An ideal place to stay for the local area to see the forest ponies or a trip to the IOW.
We definitely recommend Little Hayes and to book directly with them  by phone

We had a great stay despite the disappointing weather. We had all the vital things comfy bed, power shower 
spotlessly clean, great hosts, delicious breakfast and fantastic location. Thanks Stefan and Wendy.

Highly recommended

We have just spent 3 nights here.  Welcoming and helpful hosts and a lovely guest house.  We stayed in Room 1, Lyndhurst. The room was spotless, bright 
and charming. 

The guest house is ideally located. We went to three different restaurants in Lyndhurst and all were just a few minutes walk, as is the whole of Lyndhurst. Lyndhurst itself is also a perfectly base for a stay in the New Forest. 

We would definitely recommend Little Hayes and when we return to the New Forest this will be our place of choice to stay.

Lovely Stay 

My sister and I tried to book a room as we were having to go down to Brockenhurst to take our elderly aunt to a hospital appointment. You can understand our shock when we received an email back telling us to F*** OFF.    We have complained to Airbnb but received no explanation or apology .Needless to say we would not recommend this B&B to anyone.
