We stayed for a long weekend second time been here and had a lovely downstairs en-suite room with a sofa ! Very relaxing breakfasts yummy and the hotel is well placed to walk in to the forest or into Lyndhurst. Whilst we did not take a dog this is a dog friendly hotel Recommended

Quiet, relaxing hotel
Location is perfect, clean dog friendly hotel. Staffs are wonderful with quite appealing hospitality and marvelous environment with peace. Rooms were large, comfortable and spotless. Breakfast was very fresh. We will certainly return

Quiet, relaxing hotel

We stayed at the Ormonde House for 3 nights. The hotel location is perfect, only minutes away from a really nice Italian restaurant or less than 10 minutes to the town centre. The hotel has a nice car park. We booked a room with a jet bath a.k.a jacuzzi, which unfortunately we did not have time to use it, were too busy having good times. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Maddie at the Reception desk, Karen was serving at the bar, and putting the birthday banner at the breakfast table for our group, thank you Karen, top lady you are! Raj & all team working hard to make our stay enjoyable. Perfect hotel for our need ( bike storage is available. Definitely we will come back to try your famous curry! Thank you for the lovely stay.

Birthday weekend with friends

My family and I stayed one night at the Ormonde House Hotel at the end of August 2024. Our rooms were very clean and spacious.  The beds were very comfortable and one room had a large jacuzzi bath. The central location of the hotel is great with easy access to explore the New Forest and surrounding area. We received excellent service from the friendly staff and owner.  We highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the New Forest and Lyndhurst, or even Southhampton, which is only around 15 minutes away by car.  We will return next time we are in the New Forest area.

Lovely stay in Ormonde House Hotel

A really lovely hotel. We go every year for August Bank holiday. We always find the staff very friendly and helpful. The rooms are of a good standard. They do a great breakfast and we enjoy a curry when we stay. We look forward to staying next year and have already booked.

Great Friendly Hotel

Beautiful hotel in a perfect location. The staff were all very polite and hospitable. There is almost nothing to fault in our stay at the ormonde house hotel. Location is also excellent being about five minutes walk to lyndhurst village, and centre for easy drives to the new forest scenery and attraction.
Also I would like to emphasise how very dog friendly this hotel is. We ate at the hotel restaurant in the evening and food were excellent, also breakfast was very nice

Fabulous hotel

Simply amazing- went for a weekend for my birthday and it was perfect. Hotel is beautiful, clean and comfortable. Room was a lovely size. The staff were all so friendly and helpful. We had our breakfast in the room, room service was amazing. They even had a birthday card for me. I highly recommend this hotel and can’t wait to come back with my family again.

Had a lovely Birthday!

Nice hotel set in a great location.  Our room was larger than average with a sitting area with sofa and a proper sized TV. Bed was huge and very comfortable. This was a winter stay so a nice and warm room is essential. Pleny of radiators!

We had an evening meal in the restaurant which was amazing. I believe the chef is Nepalese  and although there is a traditional menu we opted for the Nepalese curry. Thoroughly recommended. Was one of the best I have ever had.

Nice winter stay!

A very homely hotel. The staff were so friendly and welcoming. A great location, just a stones through from Lyndhurst town with shops and cafes. A very pleasant  hotel in a lovely part of Hampshire. 
Not that we had one but dogs seem to be welcome which for some is very helpful.

A warm welcome

We had a lovely mini break at this delightful hotel. Our room was  clean, spacious and well equipped. We had booked bed, breakfast and evening meal for our 3 night stay and we were not disappointed with the quality and quantity of the food provided.  This hotel is in a great location at the end of Lyndhurst high street and many New Forest attractions are within easy reach.  We had taken our dog with us on this visit and the hotel made us all feel very welcome.
