We stayed at Coombe Farm for four nights B&B during August. The farm is well situated, set in beautiful countryside yet close to pub/restaurants, the coast and good walks along to Watersmeet and on to Lynmouth. This is a working farm. The farmer's wife is friendly and provides an excellet breakfast. The room was clean, comfortable and good value.  Wifi was variable. Just the place to escape from the busy tourist spots.

Tranquil location during peak season

This is a place that offers no pretence, it is what it is, a working farmhouse.

It has all the allure of a home we would all love to own.

The Hosts are charming and helpful, the bedroom was clean and fresh although a tad on the 'compact' side even for one.

The breakfast was freshly cooked to order and hot, however and please understand I am a retired Michelin Chef, being a farmhouse I was expecting Free Range eggs, better quality bacon (not supermarket) and a Meaty Butchers Sausage (you dont get a sausage at all). However, as I say it was well cooked.

Lost in Time

Peaceful Exmoor location, comfortable bed, good breakfast, pleasant lady host, slightly dilapidated farm setting, with antiquated decor inside. Wifi non-existent on the bedroom but fine in the dining room.

Stayed for one night at Coombe Farm. The hosts were pleasant and helpful, but not intrusive. My room was comfortable and very clean. Breakfast was delightful and cooked fresh for you.. (not sitting in food warmers!!).
The views from my room were a picture. The area is beautiful and quiet. This is an ideal place for those who prefer no fuss, but also like those nice little touches that make for a memorable stay.

We had a lovely stay at the farm in beautiful scenery, tranquil atmosphere and good service. The host was very kind and waited for us as we arrived a bit later than expected! Room was really pretty with amazing views across the hills and breakfast was delicious! Would highly recommend this place!

Just spent 5 nights at Coombe Farm , just outside Lynton - Total peace and quiet ! - Clean , comfortable rooms , a good shower , great farmhouse breakfasts and a brilliant location 

My second visit here , but definitely not my last

Fantastic B & B 

We had a wonderful couple of nights stay at Coombe Farm. It's in a stunning location with great access to the coast, Exmoor park, Lynton, Lynmouth and other local towns.

Very friendly and knowledgeable landlady, with lovely cooked breakfasts. Kid friendly too. Hard to think of what more you'd need.

Lovely, welcoming B&B

Coombe Farm is very well situated for walking in the country of Lorna Doone. The friendly reception did not completely hide the old-fashionedness of the room and the decor in general. The living room is very special with a smell of charcoal! Very nice place to start horseback rides.
