Me and my boyfriend stayed in Birch Cottage overnight.  
Gorgeous, clean and warm cottage. 
The hot tub was an added bonus. Couldn’t believe the price we paid for all the amenities. Such good value for money. 
Our highlight was having all the animals in the fields next to the cottages, we wanted to take Ethel the goat home with us! 
Thank you Laurain for being such a fantastic hostess and for the little added extras… we loved the eggs and milk from the farm, homemade cakes, bread and butter! 
Will definitely be booking again in the near future! 

10/10 Staycation! 

Took my elderly parents for a 3 night break and stayed in oak cottage. It is perfect for a family break, laurain and mick make you feel so welcome as soon as you arrive nothing is too much trouble. Great to arrive to fresh home made bread and cakes, eggs from the chickens and milk and home made butter. The accommodation is spotlessly clean and has everything you need. Outside is a private garden area with wood fired hot tub and views across the fields. The animals are great and we all enjoyed spending time with them. Great location too close to leeds castle and some great local walks. 
We will definitely be returning soon

Great family break

We had a lovely stay at Birch Cottage.  From the milk, bread, eggs and muffins on arrival to the lovely animals everything was perfect.  The hot tub is very handy after a marathon walk at Leeds Castle which is a short drive away.  The cottage had everything you need for a relaxing stay and the owners, Laurain and Mick could not have been more helpful.

Excellent in every respect. Beautifully and tastefully decorated.  Everything to hand.  Very relaxing and quiet.  Super home made bread and banana cakes left by owner were a treat. A lovely place for a short break

Enjoyed seeing all the animals and also hand feeding an alpaca.  Would highly recommend!

The perfect getaway!

We went as a group of five friends and stayed in the oak cottage and had the loveliest time. The cottage and grounds are amazing - directly overlooking beautiful views and a field of alpacas. The hosts were lovely and even let us feed the alpacas. Amazing service, out wood fire hot tub was heated for us by the hosts each day and she was always available to help us and provide us with anything we needed including fresh eggs from her chickens! We had such a lovely time and would thoroughly recommend to anyone.  

Great place to stay

When we arrived we had lovely fresh cooked bread, eggs, milk, butter and blueberry muffins. We see laurain out feeding the animals from time to time an she checked we was all ok. The oak cottage we stayed in was nice an clean with a hot tub. We went for a nice walk a found stepping stones over a stream which was very nice. We also feed the larmas. Would stay again for a long weekend getaway. 

Lovely cottage get away.

We booked this cottage for my daughter and her best friends joint 21st birthday and Wow what a place fantastic cottage spotlessly clean brilliantly equipped, comfy beds, we had an amazing hot tub with lots of fluffy towels and robes 
Laurain our host can not do enough for you we had homemade bread, fresh eggs, butter and milk awaiting us 
The surrounding area is stunning with chickens, alpacas, turkeys, pigs and sheep which laurain lets you feed 
It is one of the best places I have stayed in it’s beautiful 

Joint 21st birthday celebrations 

I would thoroughly recommend a stay at Stable Oak Cottages. We enjoyed a four night stay at Willow Cottage which was the perfect home from home. The cottage was clean, beautifully decorated and had everything we needed including a highchair and travel cot for our toddler. We loved meeting the animals and getting to feed the Alpacas. Great location for exploring different areas of Kent. Laurain was a lovely host and kindly gave us home made bread, muffins, butter and milk when we arrived. 

Fantastic home from home

Just got home from a 2 night stay in birch cottage, all I can say is it’s perfect !! When we pulled up in the car we met laurain and she was lovely. Our cottage was ready so we could go straight in, had a lovely suprise…home made muffins & bread, eggs from the chickens, milk, butter and some bacon ( very unexpected) the cottage has everything you need for a break and was cosy and warm. Laurain took us to meet all her lovely animals and I think I’m in love with Oreo the alpaca !! The local area is great for walks and only 5 minutes from leeds castle.
The cottage has a hot tub in a private garden which is lovely.
Laurain is so lovely nothing was too much trouble. We loved it so much I have just booked another 2 night break for us in may and I’m sure there will be many more !!
