My friend and I chose this hotel as it's fully plant based and welcomes dogs. It was absolutely awesome. Cosy and beautifully decorated with incredible food and lovely rooms. The location is brilliant and the local area has amazing walking to stunning landmarks. This hotel is welcoming (very friendly staff) and would be just as fab for a relaxing break with a book reading in the snug as it was for an explore, which is what we did. Highly recommend this place and we will be back.

We stayed here with our dog and she was really welcome. There are stunning walks to go on and it was lovely to just sit outside by the beck with a drink and look around or inside in the cosy room with a roaring fire. The food was lush and staff friendly and helpful. 

Wagtastic

A fantastic stay especially as we are both vegan and have a dog.  Peaceful rooms and the food was excellent and filling ! Loved the open fires and two amazing walks.  Breathtaking !  Loved it !!  Breakfast was a pleasure to with so much choice and the staff were so friendly

Great stay

We had a lovely stay at Beck Hall for our anniversary. The room was lovely and a happy anniversary card was a nice touch. 
We started off the evening by going for a drink in the hotel snug, the Ilkley vegan blonde was outstanding, one of the best pints we’ve had for a long time!
We then moved to the restaurant where we were given a complimentary glass of prosecco to celebrate our anniversary. 
The meal was delicious, we had the seaside cocktail and baby backed ribs for starter which were both very flavourful.
For mains we had the white bean cacciatore and mushroom stroganoff pudding. The cacciatore was nice but the mushroom pudding was outstanding, absolutely perfect for a cold wet February evening.
The puddings didn’t disappoint, the sticky toffee pudding was lovely and the lemon and chia cheesecake was perfect,sharp and creamy at the same time. I wouldn’t have guessed it was plant based if I hadn’t known.
Breakfast next morning was lovely, lots of refills of coffee and plenty of choice.
We’ll definitely be back!

Wow, what an amazing place. Without a doubt the best hotel we have ever stayed in..stunning location and stunning food..from the wonderful reception we received from Linda on arrival to the rest of our stay we were made to feel special and valued. Nothing seemed too much bother for the amazing staff. The food was truly sublime, full of flavour, each plate was a vision of perfection. Our dog Clyde was made to feel welcome too and it was such a relaxing pleasure to know he enjoyed the stay as much as we did. We will return again and again and again..

Another lovely stay at Beck Hall. Nothing is too much trouble. Amazing food, wine and cocktails.  They always make us feel so welcome and our dog loves it too. We will be back very soon. Great work everyone and thank you!

Such a beautiful, tranquil place. In the middle of Malham yet tucked away off the road. I loved the snug and all its amazing wood carving. My little boy loved having the stream and chickens straight outside. Everyone was really friendly and helpful and the many many dogs in residence were a bonus. One of the nicest hotels I have stayed in. thank you!

And bonus  you can take your dog.
Hotel spotless and welcoming to a high standard.
Restaraunt was very good with very fresh food.

High class accomidation

Perfect hotel for dog owners, after a slightly muddy walk before check in, we were immediately offered use of a hose and towels to clean up the dogs, followed by dog treats, and use of the cosy snug to warm up (happy dogs and relieved owners)

There are some lovely walks from the hotel, not far from Malham cove and Janet foss waterfall, it's a quiet (we stayed midweek) village location, and just idyllic really

The room was lovely, spacious and warm, heating controls in room, high pressure shower and fresh milk for hot drinks. Bed was very comfy and the sound of the beck outside the window was relaxing

Dogs are welcome everywhere, there's no 'dog area' and so the humans aren't penalised for bringing dogs (we were free to roam :) 

Beck hall has a modern, classy restaurant with a relaxed ambiance (chilled music and candlelight) the evening meal was very nice, good sized portions and they make an excellent cocktail! Dogs were welcomed in the restaurant, there are mats to borrow for them to lie on and all the staff involved the dogs when talking to us, rather than ignoring them (talked to them, gave them treats (after checking with us), etc. Which helped the Dogs settle so we could relax and enjoy our meal.
The bar staff were also happy for us to take drinks back to our room

Breakfast was very good, good coffee and Yorkshire tea! lots of choice (pastries, fruit & yogurt, cereal, & cooked options made to order), again, dogs welcomed as much as humans 

Perfect stay, we will be back, it's the first place we've taken our dogs where we've felt welcome and relaxed, staff couldn't have done more, thank you 😊



Very dog friendly, excellent location, room, food and friendly staff

The most amazing stay EVER… I cannot fault Beck Hall at all! We had the most magical, relaxing, peaceful stay. The hotel is so beautiful and everything from the ornaments to the furniture was simply stunning. They are super dog friendly and Sansa was so welcome and made herself right at home. Every single member of staff was so friendly and welcoming. The meal at the Secret Garden was faultless, I would highly recommend Beck Hall to anyone who wants a relaxing, peaceful stay in the middle of nowhere with the most beautiful scenery 🤍
