Wonderful location on sea front at the highest end of the harbour - also perfect for exploring Cliftonville and Northtown Rd - a quaint, cosy and clean hotel with pretty rooms. The staff - Justine and Michaela - couldn't do enough to help us. Really friendly, gave us local tips and helped us get ready for Pride after we'd checked out by letting us use the Bar toilets! Helped us with our bags and taxis - really kind, fun and helpful. A great place with lots of heart.

Hearts of Gold

Had an absolutely wonderful overnight stay here on a very last minute booking.
Made to feel very welcome by all the staff. I stayed in a wonderful room with sea views.
After a meal out I returned to the hotel and enjoyed a couple of drinks in the downstairs bar. Again made to feel very welcome by the staff and locals.
Looking forward to my next visit

Lovely hotel. Room very comfortable with a great view. Friendly staff who made us feel very welcome. Bar is also good with reasonable prices. Will visit again. Within easy reach of shops, bars and restaurants.

A weekend in Margate

Having been back in Amsterdam a couple of days, and having had time to reflect on our stay with you. 
We would like to thank you and concratulate you on the fantastic service you offerd us for the 5 nights that we were with you.
Special mention to Chris and Penny who were both briljant! They were both so friendly and hospitable during our whole stay. Always bright and smiling, tru hospitality mentality ( verry lacking in this day and age) 
It was our 1st visit to your hotel, but it certanly wont be the last.
We will be back next year sometime.

Lovely staff  clean cosy room everything you needed in room great shower great decor good location. The bar in hotel very trendy and well priced would definitely  recommend  it and would stay next time in on our return to margate.

Impromptu night away

A great stay at this pleasant hotel which is in a good location for Margate.

An easy smooth check in and we were made to feel very welcome. The room itself was clean, comfortable with a sea view. 

We went to Margate by train and the reception looked after our bags on the first day as we were early and on the last day too so we could look around town. 

Would be happy to stay again.


Great stay

Everything about our stay here was perfect. 

Staff : Really Helpful and Polite
Room : Exceptional - we were in Room 4 overlooking the Winter Gardens and nothing bad to report at all. Really pleased with our choice of hotel on this occasion and will most definatley be re-booking at a future date.

Overnight for Simply Red Concert

Our friend booked the whole hotel for her 60th birthday. The outside of the hotel does not hint at all at the lovely welcome and room that awaited us.  Fabulous boutique hotel recently refurbished.  Our room was just lovely, great bed and funky headboard, fabulous mirrors and nice and warm as it was freezing outside.

We had a great party in the basement bar where the staff were so helpful, nothing was too much trouble to make the celebration special.

The next morning we had breakfast which was included in the room rate.  It was superb, full English with as much tea, coffee, juices and toast as we wanted.  It really was superb and the servers were very friendly and attentive to all our needs, so thanks to them.

If you are looking for a fab little hotel for whatever reason you need to be in Margate!

Celebration Central

Second time staying at the Crescent Victoria and will happily go back again. Really friendly welcome, comfy rooms and excellent breakfasts. Ideally located for concerts at the Winter Gardens over the road.

Great place to stay in Margate

We stayed on Valentines day. Its a homely, very welcoming hotel. Nice interior. Excellent sea view room. Very friendly helpful staff. Chris cooked us the most amazing breakfast, so chatty & friendly. Nothing was too much trouble. Situation of the hotel was very good, walk into the old town & along the promenade. Bonus was that we had 2 lovely sunny days. Will definitely be returning.
