Julie and Gwynn were excellent hosts. It was unseasonably hot and Julie provided sheets instead of the usual duvet for our comfort. Breakfast was very good, conversation’s delightful and local recommendations helpful. Shower hot and strong and we had wash cloths!

Comfortable stay near Pembrokeshire Coast Path

Julie and Gwynn gave us a super time at Foxdales. The bed was very comfortable, the room spotless and the breakfast superb. The area is unspoilt, and great for walking. Would highly recommend this establishment. 

Super stay in lovely location

The hospitality at Foxdale is unparalleled! We felt well cared for in a clean, modern room with a very comfortable bed. The bathroom was spotless and the shower was hot. Breakfast was prepared to order and delicious. Julie packed us a lunch for the trail that was just perfect. I would recommend 
Foxdale to hikers and campers of any sort.  

Creature comforts and great hospitality.

Stayed bed and breakfast in this lovely guest house while on a walking holiday. Julie and Glyn were amazing hosts and couldn’t do enough for us. The bed was super comfortable and the breakfast was fab. Julie showed me around the campsite as we have a camper van and would like to come in the future. What a great little campsite too.

Great stay

I booked this site in a rush for 2 small families before looking at any reviews. We were more than happy with the site and the hospitality from Gwyn and Julie and would go again in a heartbeat. 
On arrival we were presented with a helpful little map/ info booklet and guided to our pitches which were opposite each other (one with leccy and one without) in the corner so our kids could play without straying too far.  Within minutes they'd made friends with another family so disappeared anyway! 
The rules in place are fairly standard (dogs on leads,  no kites /drones because of overhead electric cables) and aren't hard to adhere to.  
Picnic benches are dotted around to move and use accordingly which is a nice idea as not everyone carries a table and the communal drying room with microwave/ fridge is also a nice touch.  (no alcohol to be stored in the fridge for obvious reasons what with kids on site). Even labels to identify your food in the fridge are provided! Bricks are also there for BBQ purposes so add to not scorch the grass. 
The showers are a bit temperamental heat wise but they know this and have provided info regarding this to set them to medium.  No biggie.  I pointed out that a light bulb was on its way out and it was immediately addressed with a explanatory note posted on the wall in the meantime. 
Toilets are basic but clean and functional and if you can't cope with a few spiders watching you wee then you shouldn't be camping.  (note to previous reviewer!) 
Gwyn does do a little rekkie around 10 pm but instead of feeling watched (again, previous review), it was reassuring that he pays so much attention to the safety of his campers! Plus it gave us a chance to have a little natter.
A bap van is onsite (closed Wed)  which does breakfast and packed lunches if ordered in advance.  The pub up the road is within walking distance (the lobster pot) does cracking fare though.  Bare in mind that the local village shop has closed down as the owners retired so the nearest shop is in Milford. A little onsite shop for basics like bread/ milk would be jolly handy.

An excellent campsite with lovely hosts

On a family trip walking the Pembrokeshire coastline, we were LUCKY to start our trip at this Guest House. It was without doubt the highlight of every inn on the trip.
The hospitality was genuine and caring. I actually got to know my hosts!
The food was fantastic, well cooked, and always timely.
I stayed on the second floor facing the fields. The room looked and felt clean, and I was greeted with the stunning colours of the sunrise in the morning.

When I next return to Marloes, I will ONLY stay here.

BEST IN WALES

Booked a pitch with EHU over bank holiday weekend with friends. This was booked way back in March for 2 x tourers and 3 cars. Extra car was charged at £40 for 4 nights.
Arrived to be told there was no room to park the extra car eventhough they had charged us for it. 
Put on 2 pitches after alot of moaning from the wardens regarding the awnings, which again were booked.
Once pitched up and trying to relax out came the campsite rules. They obviously didn't like children playing, having been to many sites we are well aware that the level if noise that come from children aying can get alot so do remind them that there are other people about trying to enjoy the peace... BRING ON THE WARDENS!! Don't play ball there, don't walk the dog there.  Dogs to be kept o  leads at all times. Even on your pitch with a dog that literally does not leave your side. The children resorted to not playing at the site and going down to the local park. Not my idea of "family friendly ".
The showers are very outdated... as are the 3 toilets that serve the whole site. 
The female warden, takes great delight in closing all 3 loos at the same time each day to put bleach down them. Now I fully understand the need to clean the loos, but to close them all at the same time is a bit silly. And i don't think the actual cubicals had been cleaned properly for a while given the depth of cobwebs! The showers are very tempremental,  hot to cold with a touch of warm inbetween.  They have blamed this on the current water issues pembrokeshire is suffering.  Although this has been mentioned numerous times in previous reviews over the whole season.
The owners themselves were lovely and welcoming and happy to chat. 
It was the wardens that ruined it. Hopefully they will move along soon. 

OK if you haven't got children or pets.

I’ve never experienced a site like this before. From the second I stepped out of the car I felt I was being “watched”. The owners were pleasant, but the 2 English wardens made me feel like we were constantly doing something wrong. Posters and rules up everywhere. You can’t do this, you can’t do that. Don’t expect to have a poo in peace in the cobweb ridden toilet as they’ll be waiting outside to bleach it. Make sure your well trained dog who doesn’t leave your side is tied up at all times. Watch, watch, watch. Rules, rules, rules. No playing with toys kids, you might electrocute yourself. Just don’t play at all. They also come around at night with torches to check up on you. Sorry, you might mean well but it’s not enjoyable. Never going back, not that they would want us back anyway!! Stay away if you have kids and dogs, and god forbid like to have a bit of fun!

Just had 2 nights in foxdale guest house. Used it as a base to walk the coastal path. Had a lovely time. The hosts were so welcoming and friendly. Accommodation and breakfast was spot on. Would definitely recommend a stay here in a quiet and beautiful part of Pembrokeshire.

Coastal path stay

Excellent site with fantastic facilities. We camped for 3 nights. Pitch was big and and had electric hookup. Toilets, showerz fridge/freezer, drying room, washing up area and recycling.  All facilities were very clewn. Site is small and very quiet which was just perfect...no noisy roads nearby. Also got visited by the local foxes! Perfect location for visiting Skomer and exploring gorgeous Pembrokeshire. Staff were extremely helpful and friendly and happy to help with any issues.  All in all an absolute gem of a site and everyone in my group commented on how lovely it was. Would highly recommend and definitely visit again.
