The stuff is very helpful and kind and always with a smile. Especially Richards Kelly. The accommodations are ok. Clean rooms. What is really great about this hotel is the stuff. And that is the most important thing, at least for me. So I do recommend

Great stuff

We were here for the weekend for the Darts Kelly was a little gem absolutely went above and beyond for everyone.

Only thing that disappointed us was the fact there was only one member of staff to do the bar and the food on a Saturday evening but Kelly done this with so much grace and her food was fantastic thank you for a fantastic meal Kelly

Kelly is the bomb

Richard Richards was kind and helpful. He cooked me more pancakes when they ran out.

In addition to that the rooms were clean, had a nice view, quiet which is good as I needed my sleep and lastly a great price. £10 for all eat breakfast. £50 for stay.

Excellent food service

Darts weekend, Great little hotel with great staff. Rooms are clean showers are now like wet rooms which is a touch. Beds comfy as usual. All in all a great stay for my self and friends we were sadly to hungover for breakfast but this area also looked very clean

Excellent

Perfect location for using Snozone. Had a really cheap nights stay in good clean accommodation. Staff were brilliant and extra thanks to Richards Ricky who was really helpful cheerful member of the restaurant team. I would definitely stay here again.

Good value

Stayed overnight on Sunday and received excellent customer service from Check in to Check out but must give a special mention to both Richard and Barnabas who helped me when I became  a tad bit peckish and needed a very late snack, they sorted me with a very delicious pizza and glass of wine which was of great quality, thoroughly recommend a trip to the restaurant to see these guys.

Quality Overnight Stay

Sheryl who checked us in at reception was extremely welcoming on our arrival.  We were allocated a room on the 7th floor (our preference) which was clean, warm and spacious, and the bathroom facilities were clean and the water pressure in the shower was very good with plenty of hot water.

We explained to Sheryl that one of us was working in London the following day, therefore, we asked if our car could be parked here a little longer than usual.  Also, one of us would need to wait a couple of hours in the afternoon (post-checkout) to wait for the other to return from London by train, so we asked if it would be possible to wait at the Travelodge a couple of hours.  Sheryl was extremely helpful and it was not a problem to leave our car for a little longer parked in the car park opposite the building, nor was it an issue for one of us to wait for a few hours at the Travelodge, which was much appreciated given the cold temperatures outside.  This was very helpful of Sheryl and Travelodge at the Hub, and we thank you for this.

An excellent stay made better with the help given to us by Sheryl and her team.  Recommended.

Quality customer service

The parking has very limited spaces if you can’t find a space in the very limited allocated parking spaces and park in another one you end up with a £150 parking fine also ordered 2 pizzas only one came to the table when we said that we ordered 2 pizzas and we were asked what the 2nd pizza was supposed to be we said meat feast about 20 ish mins later a cheese and tomato pizza was brought to us with bits of chicken placed on the top of it you really cant make this up lol but it was because he was more interested in the 2 sl#ts that we’re chatting him up at the bar yep very unprofessional and I hope when victor the manager reads this review he will check the cctv and will realise that he was very unprofessional I never got any cutlery or sauce that I actually asked for either 
Also although it states it is a pet friendly hotel it is an extra £20 for a pet and pets are not allowed in the bar so need to be left in your room if you go to the bar to order food the shower has very limited power the pillows were quite hard the bathroom door has a hole in it the table lamp did not work top of mirror has thick dust aswell as the tv so room has not been cleaned properly for at least a month mirrors were smeared window frames dirty extractor fan in bathroom did not work various screw covers missing in room tv was not tuned in properly and remote was not working properly entrance light outside bathroom door does not work one lift was out of order for the whole of our stay overall experience was a overpriced room for what it was but it was ok if all you wanted to use the room for was to sleep but I think this particular room need’s quite a bit of maintenance and a deep clean but apart from the bad points yes I’d probably stay here again if I was given a different room and a discount on my next stay as I could find another hotel in better condition for a little less money 

Bar staff not good

Arrived early and the staff behind the desk looked after my bags for me whilst I wandered the city. The room was clean and tidy, staff hadn’t topped up the toilet roll or the sink soap and there wasn’t many milk, but Victor gave me some when I asked on front desk. Was woken up 3 times in the night by partygoers shouting outside our door, we complained and got informed that the noise makers had been evicted but they swapped our room anyway.
New room had wonderful heating, was also clean and tidy and on a very quiet floor, didn’t have any other problems. 
Overall I believe the staff did all they could to accommodate us, and don’t feel they can be held responsible for who books the room for the evening.. As soon as they knew of a problem it was dealt with.
