Exceptional wedding  venue with an outstanding team of staff.

I can’t begin to express our gratitude to all the team who made our Daughter and Son-in-law’s wedding such a memorable celebration.

Whilst Soughton Hall is the most stunning location to host a wedding. Itis not the beautiful gardens or exquisite character buildings that make it the perfect choice for your special day, but the absolutely amazing team of staff who work tirelessly to exceed your expectations.

We would like to thank everyone for taking the time and effort to surpass even of highest expectations. From our wedding planners Ella and Jen, to the team who set up the Coach House,those who supported us to prepare our bride and wedding party, the chefs, waiters, waitresses, bar staff, receptionists and maintenance team ( who found our daughter’s lost wedding ring before we left the morning after the wedding) . Every single person involved was professional, friendly, helpful and placed our wedding guests at the heart of their practice. They delivered on every point and we can’t thank them or recommend them highly enough. Don’t look any further if you want a day to remember without stress and filled with happiness, care and quality: 10/10

We celebrated our wedding on 24.05.24 at Soughton Hall, it was the most perfect day in every way, their attention to detail, service and commitment to making our day the best was outstanding..every guest was so impressed and fell utterly in love with Soughton… we loved every minute we were there ❤️ can’t thank Erin and Cheryl enough 2 very special ladies for really making everything so perfect 😍… Thank you all so so much .

An awesome and unforgettable day

Attended here for my sisters wedding. Wedding was spectacular and the service was amazing. The food for the wedding breakfast was truly exceptional, or as my husband said "flawless". Evey guest complimented how beautiful the whole experience was, from start to finish. The staff were very attentive, particular the morning staff who were present in the morning of the wedding and attended to all of our needs. Each member of staff went above and beyond and the manager of Soughton was so personable, accommodating and lovely. I wouldn't hesitate booking here for an overnight stay or another occasion. Thank you for making my sisters wedding so amazing 🙂

Wonderful wedding

Our wedding was just over 3 weeks ago now and we are still feeling on cloud 9! 

The night before the wedding myself and my bridal party stayed at Top Lodge. The lodge was absolutely beautiful, spotlessly clean and was really the perfect way to start the wedding celebrations. After we had left in the morning to get ready down at the hall, the groom and groomsmen used the lodge as a base for them to get ready in. Would 100% recommend getting the lodge booked as a part of your special day! 

On to the day itself, I still can’t quite find the words to describe what a perfect day we had. All the staff at Soughton really were absolutely amazing, every single person on the day was so lovely and really made an effort. I have to mention in particular our wedding coordinator Erin and Cheryl the manager who were absolute superstars, they made the day run seamlessly and I just can’t thank them enough. 

The food was delicious, our guests in particular raved about the halloumi and the pizza in the evening! 

The grounds are gorgeous and so well maintained, there are so many different areas to get pictures. The long driveway really does have that wow-factor when you arrive.

The hall itself is stunning, they’ve done a brilliant job of keeping the classic feel while having modern touches. It’s huge and I could spend ages talking about what I love about every room but I will mention in particular - the ceremony room is so grand, I particularly loved the ceiling! Then the marquee is such a great space for your evening reception. The hall is your home for the day and it really did feel so special that you could wander around and it would just be you and your guests. 

I could write so much more, as cliche as it sounds our wedding truly was the best day of our lives and we would without a doubt recommend Soughton Hall to anyone considering having their special day here!

The perfect wedding venue

Myself and my husband held our wedding on Good Friday at Soughton Hall after booking with a coordinator in January 2023. 

When we first visited on one the open days we fell in love with the venue instantly. It was our top choice of venue due to location and size. Best way to describe Soughton Hall is Downton Abbey meets classic modern British interior. Soughton itself was beautifully presented, spacious, homely and elegant. The main hall was spectacular and the accommodation was incredible. The garden room was a blank canvas which allowed us a lot of creative freedom. The staff couldn’t go above anymore and were able to answer all of our initial enquiries. 

Once we had decided that Soughton was our venue things were great from the get go. The communication from the venue was timely and professional and key dates (tasting menu, final details), were managed perfectly. 

Once we met our coordinator Erin, me and my husband knew we were in safe hands. With a wealth of knowledge and experience we felt we could trust Erin implicitly. We clicked instantly and felt reassured. Unfortunately for us, we had a very tricky run-up to our big day and things got stressful - but Erin couldn’t have supported us more and did literally EVERYTHING possible to help us. Without Erin, our big day wouldn’t have happened the way it did, we are forever grateful. 

On the day, things went so smoothly (minus some timing issues - bank holiday traffic), but the whole venue managed this without little disruption and without us paying too much attention to it. The rooms were set up amazingly and most things were exactly what we had envisaged from day one of planning. The whole day went off without any problems. 

From the tasting menu to the evening buffet the food was Devine! We loved everything and our guests were so impressed! We can’t wait to hopefully return for more! 

We drew the evening to a close a very, very happy newest married couple. 

Getting married at Soughton was everything we could have asked for. The service, the food, and most importantly the staff is what makes Soughton Hall a top wedding venue. 10/10! Our only regret is that we can’t do it all over again!

Holmes Wedding - 29/03/2024

We visited  this venue  for my Nephews Wedding. Which was a beautiful event. The whole day ran perfectly. We arrived at about 11.30 am for the ceremony to take place at 1.30 pm, giving us time to mingle with our family and the brides family and friends.
The ceremony was on time, and the room was beautiful, with perfect seating arrangements. The bride was happily surprised when she walked down the Isle to see her precious dog Penny meet her with her husband to be.

After a beautiful service , with lots of tears of happiness from all included, we moved downstairs  for photographs in the beautiful gardens, during which time Canapés were being served. Following this we moved to a lovely Marquee  where we enjoyed a lovely meal and listened to the speeches.
 
The whole day was beautiful and very relaxing, we had some time afterwards to either relax in our allocated rooms or to enjoy the grounds , or chill in the beautiful lounge and bar areas.

The evening was a fabulous night back to the Marquee, for fun and laughter all evening, with food being cooked outside and fires a glowing giving us the chance to either eat inside or out. What a fabulous and memorable day we all had. Thank you to the Bride and Groom for a fabulous day and for choosing this venue, all the staff were fabulous.

Wedding

Our wedding was everything I dreamed of and more. The team at Soughton Hall made everything so easy and effortless and all of our guests were so impressed with the venue. The team including cleaning and bar staff were attentive and nothing was too much trouble. I honestly could not have asked for a better day. Thank you so much

Fantastic Wedding

What amazing venue for a wedding. My niece was married there it was very beautiful. The staff were very helpful and friendly . Grace the young lady serving the drinks  was lovely had a smile all day. Truely a lovely day.
