Went with husband , friendly and welcoming. Room was lovely , clean and view perfect . Slept well . Breakfast was amazing 10/10 . And fell in love with the resident dog ❤️ nothing was to much trouble and would definitely stay again . Thank you so much x

Fantastic stay

Lovely hotel. Very clean and welcoming. Nothing too much trouble Edward and John very helpful and friendly . Breakfast delicious. Helped me put bags in the car and took them to room on arrival. Ideal location on the sea front overlooking the bay.

Lovely friendly hosts, lovely hotel

From arrival to departure we found the hosts were absolutely fabulous..very Friendly and made us feel very welcome...the breakfast was cooked to perfection..the room was perfect (extremely comfy bed n pillows)..we will definitely return again..many thanks guys for a great stay..

Great stay at craigwell

Fantastic 
we have been before and it is still excellent the room was clean and warm which is a good thing in Early March when its freezing outside, The bed was so comfy and proper pillows, better then our own bed.
Breakfast lovely. cooked fresh to order. Owners lovely and friendly and very helpful. Will defo go again.

Home from Home

From the outset there was the warmest welcome to the Craigwell and to Morecambe. Wonderfully located with views over the Bay to the Lake District. The pet- friendly hotel was spotless and cosy and charmingly decorated to a very high standard throughout. John and Ed work their socks off to provide a calm and relaxed place to stay. There are the “usual” facilities as standard: every room en- suite with towels and hairdryer, colour TV and tea/ coffee- making facilities but there is nothing standard about the breakfasts! Cereals, fruit, yoghurts and a  menu for anything you want cooked. This was the first time I’d visited Morecambe but will in no way be my last and the Craigwell will definitely be my first choice as the place to stay!

John and Edward are excellent hosts, nothing is a bother. The breakfasts are cooked to order and are generous in size. Clean comfortable rooms, fluffy towels and the best pillows ever. There are stairs which could be problematic if you have mobility issues but the majority of guests will not have a problem. 

Excellent hosts

I stayed here over the August Bank Holiday to do some walking in the surrounding countryside. Morecambe Bay itself has some beautiful views of the Lake District. The Craigwell is comfortable,  clean and good value for money.  John and Ed are very helpful and the breakfasts cooked by Ed were very generous and tasty. They set me up nicely for a full days walking.  Thank you both! I would recommend. 

Comfortable and tasty breakfasts

A great bed and breakfast. John and Edward great hosts, nothing too much trouble,room was excellent great bed and pillows nice hot shower, nice touches with fridge and bottled water in rooms. The breakfast freshly made to order by John and served by Edward was brilliant and plentiful. Will definitely be back thanks again guys

Wee Morecambe break

The attention to detail in this hotel was incredible. the owners were really pleasant and could not do enough for us, the room was lovely and the pillows were brilliant its rare to go to anywhere where the pillows are brilliant but they were, 
There was ample wardrobe space and too many coat hangers, you cant normally say that.
The breakfast had a vast choice and was cooked to order. like i said earlier nothing was too much trouble.
The price of the hotel was competitive too, to be honest i would have paid more.
All in all a lovely place to stay and we are looking forward to returning.


excellent place to stay 

The best pet friendly hotel we have stayed in.  The room was wonderful with lots of space for our young Cocker spaniel. He also enjoyed the breakfast he was given, Edward & John are wonderful hosts , the whole place was very clean & decorated to a good standard. I would definitely give this 10 out of 10
