Just had three nights at the Broadwater and everything was superb.  A lovely welcome on arrival and nothing was too much trouble for David and his staff. 
Apart from the customary tea making facilities there was a fridge in the room with fresh milk and a selection of nibbles.
As a birdwatcher it was lovely to have a pair of binoculars in the room to aid identification of the many waders just across the road on the waters edge.
The breakfast offered a wide choice and was top quality and was served with a smile and  welcoming words. 
It was my first visit to Morecambe and I had no plans to visit again. The fact I have booked a four night stay in July is perhaps the best compliment I can pay to this delightful Guest House.

What a find!

David and the team provided an excellent  service. Very friendly and helpful, breakfast was good with plenty of choice.  
The room was spotless and the extra touches e g chocolates in room, milk in fridge daily. The toiletries were  of top quality. Definitely  would recommend Broadwater guest house and we will be returning in the future.

An absolute gem of a place to stay, one of the nicest rooms we've ever had in a guest house. The owner dave goes above and beyond making your stay as pleasant as possible. Did his best to allow an early check-in and communication was great. We had room 3 which is 1st floor with bay window overlooking the bay onto the lakes hills. A tv larger than what I have at home! A great selection of hot drinks Inc sweets biscuits crisps and a mini fridge with proper milk in. Breakfast was beaut, once again a good selection. It's a cert that we will book here if in area again.

A Morecombe Gem

From the moment I arrived, David couldn’t have been more welcoming. The property itself is well situated on the seafront and the decor is in keeping with the area; many photos and books relating to Morecambe and its Bay.
The bedroom was exceptionally clean and thoughtful touches  included fresh daffodils and complimentary use of binoculars.
The breakfast had to be the best I’ve had in any guest house or hotel.
I will definitely recommend to family and friends without hesitation and I look forward to returning soon.

Exceptional standards

Just returned from a weekend at this excellent Guest House.  This was our third visit and would recommend it wholeheartedly.  David is a friendly host who has thought of everything!  Our room was very comfortable with so many extra touches.  The bathroom is fully equipped with excellent toiletries.  It would be hard to think of anything missed from the delicious breakfast menu.

I travel to the UK several times a year and I have stayed at various B&Bs in the Lancaster/ Morecambe area. Without a doubt, the Broadwater guesthouse is the cleanest,  exceptionally accommodating most pleasant stay I have had so far. I really don’t write reviews but I felt I had to because of the exceptional experience that we had on latest visit. David attends to details and service like no one else I know and we can’t wait to go back.

Exceptional

As a guest house, The Broadwater features after the various hotels in Morecambe and surrounding areas. I can assure you that what you get here, surpasses anything that you are likely at any of the hotels, higher up the list. The standard of personal service provided by David and his staff, from the moment you arrive to the moment you leave, is second to none. 

The quality and quantity of the fixtures throughout the house and the many extras in your room, are superb and go a long way to enhancing the quality and comfort of your stay. What a pleasure it is to see plants and fresh flowers in your room. They do make a great difference. The array of breakfast items is more than enough to get your day off to a great start. Nothing is too much trouble and the whole place is spotlessly clean. More could be done locally to improve parking facilities but David can't be faulted in any way for that. We have stayed all around the world, as well as extensively in the UK and we have not come across a better place to stay. Thanks David for a lovely stay and we look forward to seeing you next year. 

As Near Perfection As You Are Likely To Get. 

The best B&B I have ever stayed in! David has thought of everything you need to create a super comfy stay in his guest house. We had a double room on the first floor at the front of the property overlooking the bay - wonderful! The room had fresh flowers, locally-themed books, binoculars, a silent fridge, coffee machine, Dyson hairdryer and straighteners, snacks, radio, silent fans,  pillow spray, bath robes, a heated mirror in the bathroom....so many lovely little extras that go above and beyond. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious.   There was a small snug lounge next door to our room that also overlooks the bay and had loads of books and local info. We will definitely be returning! 

The best B&B I have stayed in

We had a fabulous stay at the Broadwater Guest House start of our Way of the Roses cycle adventure. David was a fabulous host, nothing was too much trouble. Our room (3)  was beautiful, everything so well presented and immaculate. The breakfast was amazing, everything you could possibly think of.  Highly recommend staying here. Thank you David, it was an absolute pleasure to stay with you. 

Fabulous stay

The place was spotless, the room was so lovely, nice decor and so many touches that showed the owner really thinks about their  guests.  Toiletries were amazing and bed was super comfy.  Breakfast was one of the best we have ever had in a guest house.  This place is just magical, we cannot wait to go back and will recommend to all.  All in all the place to stay in Morecambe and if only all guest houses were like this.
