Excellent hosts Paul and Carys nothing too much trouble 
The room was beyond our expectations as well as the breakfasts
Bathroom had all the toiletries for you and extra touches supplied for us ladies 
Had the best sleep ever the bed was so comfortable

An amazing B&B

We stayed for our Anniversary this weekend...Carys and Paul were very welcoming.  We were provided with an upgraded room, and it had everything you could need.  The quality of all the products, room fixtures and fittings are top notch...... breakfast was lovely, calm and pretty but the food was lovley.

Would highly recommend.

Can walk to Morfa Nefyn, there is a good local pub and small shop with traditional butcher inside too 

Wonderful

We have just had a wonderful 2 day stay at this amazing B&B, we have got to say its probably the best we have ever stayed in. Paul and carys are the perfct host, nothing was to much trouble for them .Nice little touch with some home made Bara Brith (welsh fruit cake ) on arrival . The bed was so comfy we didn't want to get out . Breakfast was amazing and beautifully presented . If your looking for peace and tranquillity then this place is for you, if your looking for a beautiful beach, with lovely walks then this place is for you too. We are already looking at planning our next visit back.

Amazing

We have stayed here on numerous occasions and the quality, welcome and comfort remain of the highest standard and we cannot recommend it highly enough. Paul and Carys are the perfect hosts definitely not our last stay. 

Five star stay

We stayed for 3 nights; Mon 12th June to Thursday 15th June.  The property looks lovely from the outside but even better on the inside. The room was spotless and tastefully decorated. There were things in the fridge waiting for us along with some fresh Welsh cake on the table. It was a very homely and comfortable. We were welcomed by Paul & Carys who were absolutely lovely. I had written to them before our visit to inform them that I have an illness known as 'Silent Reflux' which means many foods are off limits to me so I couldn't eat a normal 'Full English Breakfast' for example, nor can I drink normal tea or coffee, only water, almond milk and Camomile tea. Paul was on breakfast duty every orning and he went out of his way to look after us. He made me porridge and a full pot of Camomile tea daily. A pity I couldn't eat the English breakfast that my wife had because it looked lovely and she confirmed that it tasted great. Nothing was too much for Paul & Carys, they were always friendly and greeted us with a smile and a chat. I cannot recommend this establishment highly enough and when we return to the Llyn Peninsula we shall definitely be staying at Yr Hen Felin - The Old Mill B&B

Great stay at Yr Hen Felin!

Having travelled extensively throughout the UK,this is without doubt one of the finest and hospitable B&B accommodations I have had the pleasure of staying in. 
Carys and Paul are wonderful hosts and the interior design/ furnishings etc are most tasteful and clean. Breakfast is second to none. Thanks to Carys and Paul for a wonderful and memorable five nights. If there are any adverse reports on this site,which I doubt,they are totally unfounded. Alan A.

Fantastic and memorable.

Nice B&B, but to be honest just nice nothing like other reviewers state it is and certainly not worth the price. Location lovely
Clean and tidy in places,abit cluttered.
Mattress and pillows could do with replacing, they have seen better days.
 I stayed here when it was raining heavily and the noise of the rain running off the guttering and drainpipes where they were overflowing / broken meant that I had a very poor sleep for two nights. 
Breakfast was nicely presented, the hosts were abit too clappy happy and OTT, personality traits that I do not particularly like, it all felt very forced by them.
I am sure that other visitors do love it, everyone is different. Personally I would not stay here again.
I chose the B&B on the reviews but I have stayed in nicer and better B&B's and at less the cost.

Average Stay

The old mill is a stunning place to stay. Our room was spacious with plenty of character dating back to the days when it was a working mill.
Lots of nice little touches such as chocolates left each day and replaced coffee, tea, milk, water biscuits etc. The owners Paul & Carys really go out of their way to make you feel welcome & comfortable and nothing seems too much for them.
The breakfast is also perfect.
If & when we ever go back to this area we will definitely stay at the old mill again

Very picturesque and comfortable 

Stayed recently at Yr Hen Felin for 3 nights. Excellent place to stay. Carys and Paul are the perfect hosts and have a very high standard of accommodation. Beautiful rooms which were spotlessly clean, with a very high attention to detail. Nice touch with a piece of Bara Brith upon arrival.  Breakfast was of a very high quality and plentiful.

A Relaxing Break

Myself and a small group of walking friends stayed at Yr Hen Felin for 4 nights over the Bank Holiday weekend for the first time and had an outstanding stay. The accommodation is first class with every possible requirement for your room catered for, this included a fridge containing milk and bottled water, a really great hair dryer, plentiful toiletries, lots of hanging space with plenty of coat hangers, two comfy chairs as well as a window seat and a very spacious bathroom. Paul and Carys are great hosts, who always find the time for a little chat and they clearly take great pride in their home and accommodation, which has been furnished to a very high standard and is clearly a labour of love. The breakfasts were the best we've ever had with both cold and cooked breakfast available and cooked to order. They were delicious. We can't recommend highly enough.
