No one in reception on our arrival or at check out.
Our room smelled of sweaty socks with paint that had peeled off the wall near the kettle and off the bottom of the door.
Definitely not part of the Premier Inn group…
Bed and breakfast with no sign of a breakfast ( not that I’d eat it in that place!) .

Real budget hotel but the room was clean and tidy.The electric shower took some setting to avoid being scalded or frozen to death!
Very good position for restaurants with choice of Turkish,Indian,French and pub close by within 5 minute walk.
On site parking good.
No evidence of breakfast service reception unmanned
Morrisons supermarket a stones throw away where a good breakfast with coffee costs £ 9

Good value in Morprth

2nd stay at the lodge… It’s clean, VERY central, has parking, nice owners… 
The price is budget but well worth it!
No breakfast is available but a great quirky motorcycle shop/cafe 1 minute walk 👍🏻
This hotel is a fantastic budget option 👌🏻 I will be back for a 3rd stay

Booked a single room and got a free upgrade to a family room!! 👍🏻

Terrible place we checked in got to our room and walked out just as quickly id rather sleep in my car. It was like walking into a place where you rent it by the hour. CCTV watched your every move. Just felt very seedy. 
Rooms were so small. So checked out and checked in to the Premier Inn down the road.

Awful place

The room I was allocated was tiny, the bed tucked into the corner, there was a bench type table attached to the wall and 1 dinning room chair, which was unusable because the bed prevented it being pulled out enough to sit on. To say the room was dowdy is mild. The tv had a grey stripe through the screen and didn't even have bbc1 on the channels. To call it a small room is being generous!! I have a bigger shed. Rabbits have bigger hutches than the room I was given. Paid for 2 nights stayed 1 only because I'd had a drink with my meal before check in, otherwise I'd have left immediately I was given the room. 
Do not go there. The names suggests it's part of the Premier Group IT IS NOT AND NEVER WILL BE.
TOTALLY SUBSTANDARD IS BEING KIND. Makes any basic room look 3 star.

Worst room place I've ever had the misfortune to stay in.

Do not stay in the premiere lodge Morpeth. We stayed in room 6.
I should have guessed by the room number hanging off the door what was inside.
holes in the carpet on the stairs.
a punched holed in the bathroom door
the room smelt damp
second hand furniture stained and scratched.
The stool had paint drips down its legs.
chipped cups.
I have taken photos below.
We were only staying one night thank god.
The reception wasn't manned nor could we find the man who gave us the key.
it was disgusting

Do no stay at the premiere lodge at Morpeth

Very disappointing hotel. The room was clean, however furniture was very old, and not in a retro-chic way, carpets and curtains were thread bare. The room itself was like an 80s student bedsit.
Booking through the Premier Lodge website, you get the option of booking a cooked breakfast. Upon arrival, the management stated that they DO NOT offer ANY breakfast at all. Luckily there was a Morrisons cafe over the road.
Luckily for me this was only a one night stay. I would not go back 

Premier Lodge/ Morpeth Inn. Avoid.

No it’s not the Ritz.  The carpets are threadbare, the bathrooms are elderly and the pillows are truly awful - warned, I brought my own. Walls are paper thin and requests to keep tv noise levels down fell on deaf ears as far as my neighbour was concerned. Decor is tired to the point of exhaustion. BUT it’s very central, the bed was clean and comfy and there was plenty of hot water.

It’s not the Ritz.

Rooms are very very basic they do have tea and coffee and TV but no hairdryers  The noise from the road is terrible even if you have a room over the car park  The first double room we looked at stank of smoke and I had rung the property especially for ground floor rooms as we had a disabled person with us and I was assured that this would be possible however when we booked in all the rooms were up a flight of stair,  its was a good job that the person could just about manage the stairs because had it been someone wheelchair bound it would have been impossible to stay The only reason we did stay was because it was for one night and to late to try and find another ground floor room at another property My husband and I had to stay on another level which was so inconvenient for all of us  The 3 of us did not sleep well the disabled person had a sunken mattress and our pillows were so hard you couldn't rest your head on them   Would never stay here again 

Ridiculously expensive for such basic rooms and no breakfast

Friendly staff, clean room. I was concerned after reading so many negative comments here on trip advisor but I would certainly stay again. Room had everything you needed.

Heater, tea & coffee, large TV, towels, soap and shampoo, comfortable large bed.
