Not been here in absolute ages for a meal and we were driving past so thought we would pop in.

For starter I had haggis bon bons, which were just tooooo good 🤤. I absolutely love haggis bon bons and these were legit perfect. Fiance had bbq chicken wings which were super saucy and looks delicious also.

For main I had the chicken tempura which was so good also, super light and crispy! The fries were so yummy too. Fiance had a beef burger which he also enjoyed, it looked super juicy 🍔

Defffffinitely would return here for a meal, although be warned it was pretty pricey 😬 but they do do deals during the week which would defo be worth it!

It is such a pretty location also, we got sat next to the golf course and there was also a wedding on so was so lovely to sit and watch.

lovely lunch spot- but tad pricey

attended a pre hogmanay wedding.   Both wedding suites were booked at the same time and another hall for a party.  The hotel was packed to the rafters and there was no where to sit, between wedding, meal & evening reception.  Any spaces found to sit you were told to scarper as they were reserved for restaurant diners.  The bathroom was a disgrace.  Not the standard you would expect for an expensive wedding venue or for a hotel.  The vanity units around the sink bowls were flooded and your clothing got soaked if you attempted to wash your hands.  You had to resort to drying your soaked clothing under the hand dryers.  A couple of folks resorted to skipping the use of the sinks and just used their personal hand sanitiser.  The white carpet runner used for the bridal aisle looked filthy.  Would it have killed them to hire a rug doctor to give it a clean.  The ceiling area showed sings of deterioration on the area that may have once housed perhaps sliding dividing doors.  The hall was quite shabby.  Quite run down looking since the last time we attended a wedding there in 2018.  Could do with a revamp.  The wedding meal main course was stone cold, and they served brick hard dry Yorkshires than couldn't be cut and folks asked for some gravy to make them edible.  I wouldn't recommend the venue at all.  Price bar wise, a bit pricey.   Not enough car parking spaces for the number of guests at the venue.  The staff are very nice and very helpful but the hotel was over booked in my honest opinion and there wasn't room to move never mind sit.  

Rundown and needing a revamp, 

Went to Dalziel Park for lunch with friends. The food was excellent, the best lunch I have had out in a long time. 
The food was well presented and plentiful.  

The staff at the hotel were very attentive and pleasant.  I would certainly recommend this venue.

Seven of us had a great dinner at Dalziel Park hotel today. The food and service was excellent resulting in a fantastic dining experience. I will definitely return again in near future and would recommend the Dalziel Park to anyone looking to dine out.

Dalziel Park hotel meal Sunday 19/11/23

Our second visit to the restaurant and we were not disappointed.

The restaurant setting is beautiful. We were sitting looking at the golf course with for once the sun shining 

The menu was vast with lots to choose from and caters for all budget. We all had something different, and the food was beautifully cooked, served well, and tasted divine. 

The staff were friendly and attentive, big shout out to young lad with glasses [sorry didn't get his name] who served us today. He was such a lovely lad and good crack.

Another Beautiful Meal

Would just like to say this is one of our favourite places to eat, we come here together and with friends and we are never disappointed with the service or the food. It’s always amazing. 
We stayed for an overnight last Friday and it was another great experience. We had room 22. Lovely and comfy comfy bed too. Booked a table for dinner for 6.45. We each had prawn cocktail to start which was really tasty, we then had Steak pie and i had fish and chips with salad. Was lovely and didn’t wait long for each course either. We were served by Lisa, she is a friendly face we see quite a lot and nothing is ever too much bother. Great visit. Will definitely be back soon.

Another Fab Visit

Shocking terrible ..embarrassing..seating was absolutely terrible next to band ..sat outmon our own for dinner in middle of floor ..then moved to be challenged by other customers for being in their seat s ..forced to leave so embarrassing..apologised to by management back home situation has not been rectified by management ..

Also had paid in full 2 years in advance £130 due to covid and helping to be treated like this

Hogmanay bash

I visited the Dalziel Park Hotel for Christmas dinner with my wife and two daughters. We were at a function earlier in the year and enjoyed it and decided to give Christmas dinner a try and we weren’t disappointed. We were treated to a glass of bubbly on arrival. Food and service was really first class and value for money too. Meals were perfectly presented and ver y tasty! Would highly recommend and we’ll definitely be returning in the future.

Christmas Dinner

First I would like to say that the venue is beautiful and cannot fault the decor, it’s stunning. BUT the service was very poor. We had to ask for menus and were given not what we ordered but were told it was still vegan and the menu that we had been given specifically for vegans wasn’t in use. We were served asparagus and bean risotto but ordered mushroom risotto. At no time were we told that this was THE only option for us non meat eaters!! The waiter brought the plates back to us and didn’t even reheat them. The dessert we ordered, there was one left so my friend took the option of the vegan fudge cake which was served partially warm and to be fair the toffee pudding was nice but very small portion. Not once did we get an apology and was made to feel that we were in the wrong and we weren’t asked if we wanted more drinks and just in general the service was poor. We left feeling very disappointed!!

Great if you are meat eaters, not so great if you are not!!

Ordered mushroom risotto, was given asparagus and broad bean risotto. When we told staff that wasn't what was ordered he took it away then came back and told us what we were given was vegan. At no point were we offered an alternative, at no point were we offered an apology, it was basically 'suck it up'. Imagine ordering prosecco and being given lemonade, then being told well it has bubbles! 
Poor poor service, bloke seemed to think it was a big joke!
