We stayed in a double room. It was comfortable and a good size. Everything looked new and was very clean. Great shower and bed. Friendly and helpful staff. A very quiet location a short distance from Stonehaven. The room was equipped as advertised and the Inn was just next door. We had a complimentary continental breakfast which offered a good choice of food. If you want quiet countryside I can thoroughly recommend staying here.

A very comfortable, restful stay.

Our second visit to this establishment , nothing has changed (although have been told a refurb is happening end of year).
Everyone we came into contact with was courteous , helpful and friendly.
Breakfast was amazing with lots of choice including full English/Scottish.
Bev the manager runs an excellent operation and is a credit to the business.

Second visit

Booked online for the bargain price of £50 per night. Saw the photos and they looked lovely despite the low price. Arrived at 3 and was swiftly checked in by a lovely lady with auburn hair, she chatted away to my very sleepy nephew then showed us to our rooms and gave us some info about the lodge and the surrounding area. The rooms very spacious and tastefully decorated and equipped with tea/coffee and hairdryers etc. Bed comfy and clean and the bathroom with the massive shower was immaculate. Will definitely be staying here again and will be sure to reccomend

Charming little place

Loved staying at this lodge. Such friendly, helpful staff with a lovely clean, room. Very comfortable beds/bedding and the room was so quiet. It was equipped with all the usual amenities you would expect.

The breakfast was perfect, buffet style full cooked with haggis option. There were other colder options available, but i was too full to consider more!

The location was just what we wanted, away from the hustle and bustle of the city, so peaceful. There is a pub right next door, which was great for relaxing with a drink and some delicious food.  We drove into Aberdeen the following day for some shopping which wasn't far, so had the best of both worlds.

We came here to stay with our 11month old (32kg) puppy, was his first time at a hotel and he was welcomed with open arms by all staff and guests. We were even able to take him to the local pub next door (again his first time) he behaved himself and was spoiled rotten by the locals.

I would definitely come here again and recommend to others.

Fantastic Hotel - Clean rooms and friendly staff

Ideally situated to tour and visit this lovely part of Scotland. After a good nights sleep and nice breakfast Aberdeen and places like Stonehaven,Banchory and Fettercairn are only a short drive away.  Beverly and her staff are welcoming, rooms comfortable and a nice evening meal can be had at Lairhillock Inn.

1 night or more a comfortable place to stay

We had a nice big room. It was quite basic, but clean and quiet. Good breakfast in the morning. Nice pub next door where you can have dinner after a long day sightseeing (bit pricey but quality food).
