Wonderful B&B.  Miyoung and Neil are wonderful.  Neil gave us a list of places to visit and nothing seemed too much Miyoung.  She provided a very nice breakfast, and rooms were immaculately cleaned daily.  We would highly recommend.  You won’t be sorry you stayed here.

Excellent B&B

My mother and I spent 2 wonderful stays at this quiet and wonderful B&B.  Comfortable in every way!  Well appointed rooms, wonderful breakfast room and the entire property.  Close to Stonehaven in a quiet, beautiful country setting.  Breakfast was exceptional as were our charming hosts, offering excellent information about the area.  Will certainly stay here again on our next trip!

Beautiful B&B, Wonderful Hosts

Fabulous venue .  Miyoung and Neil are a charming couple who give a warm welcome and all the local info one could want.  The interior design is fab with great attention to detail and high end finishings.  I relaxed straight away.  
The Grange is in a delightful setting with lovely mature trees and plants as a backdrop to stunning seaside and countryside views.
I discovered that Miyoung is from South Korea and was keen to try a S Korean breakfast.  What a treat and so healthy.  Miso with seaweed, carrot and fish fritters, spicy cucumber, sticky rice and S Korean style scrambled egg.  Her coffee is delicious as well.

Wonderful relaxing break in delightful surroundings n lovely company

with a warm welcome from the hostess we were received very attentively. We got a nice room and great private bathroom with bath and shower.
Miyoung took wonderful care of us and prepared delicious breakfast. She also prepared fresh and warm coffee and tea as much as we wanted and got extra cocoa for my husband for breakfast on the second day.
The conversations with both hosts were very entertaining, pleasant and enriching. Thank you for the wonderful time during our honeymoon.

A particularly beautiful contribution to our trip!

This is a gem of a place. The hosts could not have been more friendlier or helpful. I even got to wash my sports car!  Set in the rolling countryside the place is a quiet haven. Everything about the house, the attention to detail, the room the facilities, was superb! How do they do it for £85 a night? we loved staying here and will definitely go back.

Best B&B on our trip!

Our room was really cute and extremely clean; I don't think I've ever stayed anywhere so clean and I'm very picky. Our hosts were welcoming and couldn't do enough for us. The bathroom is huge with a roll top bath and shower. Lovely breakfast of your choice. Very quiet and convenient.

Lovely place

Firstly the welcome from Neil and Mia was really friendly and welcoming despite us not arriving until late in the evening. All the COVID protocols were followed and the double room with private bathroom we stayed in was very well decorated, spotlessly clean and the bed and linen were of excellent quality.

The B&B is in a very quiet location so no issues with any noise. After a good nights sleep we made our way to the breakfast room which was again furnished and decorated to a very high standard. The cooked breakfast was amazing. Everything was fresh and cooked perfectly. The hosts could not do enough for us and made us feel really welcome offering tips and help in planning our day.

Neil and Mia have obviously made a big investment into the B&B and everything felt good quality, had a clean and bright contemporary feel which was excellent. I would have no hesitation returning and would recommend Crawfield Grange to anyone staying in the Stonehaven area.

Warm welcome, spotless and amazing breakfast

Next time, we'll stay a bit longer! When planning our trip to Scotland, we decided to book one night in Stonehaven so that the drive from St Andrews to the Cairngorms wouldn't be as long. Looking back I regret this, and that mostly has to do with how lovely our stay at the Crawfield Grange B&B was.

We arrived a bit early but Wilma, our host, was very welcoming and kind. She showed us to our room, which was a double room with private bathroom. We could immediately tell that Wilma spend a great deal of time to make the rooms as cozy, comfortable and clean as can be. The decor and the furniture have been matched with great care and was exactly what I expected (and hoped for) in Scotland! The bed was extremely comfy and the room contained everything you might need - iron and ironing board, coffee and tea maker, make up table, little seating area, wardrobe, safe and a TV with dvd player. I loved that there was a basket on a table in the hallway with some movies to watch and some books to read! Also there was a binder in the room with tons of information on things to do in the area and places to eat. Our host was very happy to give us some more tips as well and to just have a chat. 

The bathroom was down the hallway, and even robes and slippers were provided. The bathroom was very modern, spacious and clean. Toiletries were provided and there was a seperate shower and bath. 

Breakfast was served in a communal room, which was neat but didn't match the atmosphere of the rest of the B&B. Self service included several types of juices, milk, a fruit salad, cereals and yoghurts. There were also some options for special diets like gluten free food. Cooked breakfast was made to order, which is lovely. We both mostly enjoyed it, but some parts were a bit over cooked. Also I would have liked some more continental breakfast options like different breadrolls, cheese/meat and maybe some more fruit. 

Upon leaving we were able to pay by card, which was perfect as the B&B is in the countryside and we didn't have any cash on us. We paid around 70 pounds for one night, which I thought was very afforable for what you get. Maybe it is a bit cheaper as it is a bit further from the centre of Stonehaven? 

All in all, Crawfield Grange exceeded my expectations by far. This, to me, is exactly how a B&B should be!

Precious rooms, lovely host

Stayed here with my wife in the twin room for 6 nights. The house is immaculate and the hostess, Wilma, is friendly and efficient. Plenty of off street parking ...you are in the middle of the country with lovely grounds and gardens. Room was excellent with tea/coffee etc. Perfect.
Breakfast, excellent choice but don't miss the full Scottish.
This is a fantastic B&B and I would recommend it .

Out of our few weeks traveling Scotland, this was one of our favourite B&B’s. It is a lovely, quaint place out in the scenic countryside but not too far from attractions such as Dunnotar Castle or good restaurants. The place is cosy, quiet and tastefully decorated, as well as immaculately clean. Not only is it a charming place, but the host was absolutely lovely and the breakfast was excellent. We had a private bathroom with claw-foot ceramic tub. Gorgeous. Wish we had been able to stay longer! We can’t wait to go back again.
