We loved our stay in this boutique hotel. The decor was beautiful and our room was really comfortable, particularly the bed! We had a great view of the sea and loved all the attention to detail Nicholas, our host provided. As well, we appreciated the superb breakfast cooked individually for us. We would definitely recommend this hotel.

Fantastic

Absolutely gorgeous hotel in the heart of Newquay.  Stayed for 2 nights.  Our room was extremely comfortable with top quality furnishings and toiletries.  Very helpful lady who welcomed us and showed us to our room.  

Beautiful Hotel

I was in Newquay for work and stayed at The White House for a few days. Nicolas immediately made me feel welcome and like the hotel was a home away from home. I absolutely loved the decor and the view from my room was such a nourishing contrast from my views in London. The hotel is walking distance from the local shops, restaurants and great hiking spots. I highly recommend staying at this beautiful hotel. 

A breath of fresh air

This is an amazing property, full of character, opulence, and a unique twist of fabulousnesses ! Nicholas and yo-yo are the heart and soul of this amazing place… amazing location, amazing energy, anyone with any negatives about here are simply unfathomable - you must stay here.

World Class (from a fussy traveller)

Toilet was so tight and barely inside the ensuite, most uncomfortable to use, and with the seating area so close outside the door you felt no privacy and could easily be heard.
Breakfast only served from 9am to 10am, bit late if you are touring each day.
Breakfast orders taken too quickly and the wrong selection was served, another time my wife wasn't asked.
Cutlery and teapots from the old days, need upgrading to modern utensils..
You felt you were in someone's home, not quite a hotel feeling.

Our 2nd visit and was not disappointed. Nicholas is a friendly and welcoming host. Our room, the Presidential Suite, on the top floor was tastefully furnished, spacious and spotlessly clean with a lovely walk in shower. Eggs for breakfast cooked every which way and the best I've had in a very long time. Highly recommended for an exceptional stay. 

Birthday

This small Hotel is in our view one of the best we have ever stayed in. We were greeted by Nick the owner with a glass of fizz - showed to our room The Vice Presidents Suite and we duly settled in. It is very central to the town - a 5 minute walk. The room was lovely with very ornate furniture and bed ! The en-suite was quite small but adequate and spotlessly clean.
The decor of the whole place was very tasteful - everyday our room was cleaned and a decanter of water was left. The breakfast was lovely - everything served in glass jars and the hot food cooked to order (and perfection) by Nick himself. Yoyo the lady who served us was both gracious and very helpful - nothing was too much trouble. This morning when we left early Nick has prepared a breakfast for us to eat on our journey - where else would you get this kind of service.
If you are planning on a trip to Newquay this place is an absolute must - thanks to both Nick and Yoyo for making our stay memorable.

Just lovely !

No expense has been spared on the decor and creation of atmosphere. A warm greeting. The front room has an honesty policy for the bar and packs of cards and board games neatly tucked away in artful tables.
The whole place has a very unique feel and is beautiful throughout.
Breakfast is very good too. 
It’s a little bit above and beyond a B&B but for the same price.

A bit more than a B&B

This is an exceptional property with a huge amount of attention given to every detail. The room was very stylishly and thoughtfully appointed. A great welcome awaits on arrival with the offer of a glass of Proseco and a smooth check-in. Excellent breakfasts with the most perfectly prepared eggs that I have had in a long time! The location is convenient - a short walk from the harbour and main street, so one is out of the scrum yet close enough to all the attractions.

An excellent stay

This small but extremely well run hotel made our stay in Newquay that more memorable. The hotel management and staff have thought of everything and the attention to detail is impressive, highly recommended.
