The staff are amazing , so welcoming and nothing is too much trouble.  We arrived early and Ang welcomed us straight away, our room was ready so we were able to settle in straight away. The large size and comfort of our room was perfect overlooking the garden.  We relaxed with drinks on the outdoor veranda and ate dinner, food was very good and once again the staff at dinner were great.  Breakfast the following morning was plentiful and Mel looked after us well, total credit to the team.  We just wished our stay was longer because everything about the hotel was a delight, keep us the excellent work everybody you truly do excel in what you do.  We will definitely return.

Fabulous

We were wowed by our room, the very large balcony looking out to sea, the attention to detail and the quality of the breakfasts and the dinner we had at Porth Beach Hotel. The owners and their son were excellent hosts and the waiting staff in the morning were very kind. My one tip though is order your taxis well in advance if you don’t have your own car when travelling to and from the hotel.

A perfect stay 

I had followed the hotels instagram page for a while however I finally got to experience it last week. I didn’t stay however I had my birthday drinks and food at the hotel and it was amazing. The decor and views topped it off.

Angie, and Leon greeted us with grace and servants hearts!  Mel who served us breakfast each morning was a delight, attentive and a joy to be near!  She was exceptional in her service!

The views are amazing of course!  Our room impeccably kept!  We also ate dinner twice and it was delicious with the same attention to detail in the kitchen as service on the floor!!

We could not be happier and will return by God’s grace to this wonderfully run, fun, family boutique hotel that truly defines that particular market space!

SUPERB service, outstanding food and extras in your room, THE BEST PEOPLE!!

My first time at Porth Beach hotel and I will most definitely return. The hotel is in a superb position with amazing views of the beach which can be enjoyed from the front veranda with a glass of something from the hotel bar. The rooms are modern, well presented and very comfortable. The hotel restaurant is also first class with a range of home cooked and locally sourced options available. The highlight for me was the mother and son team of Melissa and Steve who greeted guest with a warm and friendly welcome. Nothing was too much trouble for them and their local knowledge was very useful along with a hearty breakfast to get you off on the right foot.

Surely the best hotel in Newquay

This was a short break(7days) to explore the West Coast of Cornwall. We chose the Porth Beach Hotel because is was fairly central to the places, sites & beaches we wanted to visit and explore, also it offered on-site parking. The hotel exceeded our expectations in every respect, friendliness of the owners, staff, quality of the food and menu choices. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff. Five stars was nothing less than this establishment deserves.

Short break in Cornwall

An excellent family run hotel. The owners provide a beautiful decorated, clean, welcoming hotel overlooking Porth Beach. On entering the hotel you are made so welcome by the owners and staff. Bedrooms are clean and comfortable. The dining room and bar overlooks Porth beach. Food is beautifully cooked by the owner.  Breakfast has a good choice menu for hot food as well as a packed continental breakfast table including lovely extra home made additions. Evening meals are beautifully cooked by the owner with plenty of choice and the portions are extremely large. Staff in the restaurant and housekeeping are very friendly with excellent advice and help on the local area around Cornwall. I would definitely recommend this hotel. As well as the above the hotel is in a central position for visiting so many towns and beaches within Cornwall. I thoroughly recommend this hotel for single people, couples and families.

We had a great 5-night stay at Porth Beach Hotel. The hotel is located just a stone's throw away from the beach. The room was spacious and stylish. Their also offer an excellent breakfast selection including cooked a la carte dishes and delicious pastries. We also had dinner there a couple of times and the food and service were fantastic. The added bonus is the view over the bay from the restaurant. If you're staying in the Newquay area, I would highly recommend staying at this hotel.

Great seaside stay

Everything you could ask for, excellent breakfast with plenty of options to suit everyone, hotel has amazing views. Porth beach is lovely and has everything you could ask for. Spacious rooms with options of bath or shower. Ang and Baf are so accommodating been coming here for last few years and service always impeccable. Nice bar, outdoor terrace is great with views overlooking the beach. 👌

Fantastic

We stayed here at the end of July 2022 and had the ‘St Ives’ suite which was really lovely with our own little fridge! We had a balcony with a glass balustrade overlooking the stunning Porth Beach. 
The owners Anj and Baf are so friendly and run a fantastic hotel, we had such a laugh with them and the other members of staff. 
The breakfast choice is really good and my husband said he had never had such a lovely consistently delicious cooked breakfast in any hotel we have ever stayed in.
The evening food was lovely too with plenty of choice and a specials menu too. 

We had a brilliant stay. We caught the open top bus to Padstow just down the road from the hotel which meant we didn’t have to worry about parking etc, we would definitely recommend this. It was really good value for money too. We were only in Cornwall for 4 nights and didn’t use our car once, there are so many beaches within walking distance including Lusty Glaze and Watergate Bay.
