Clean and comfortable hotel on the sea front.  
Pleasant and helpful owners.  
Good to have onsite parking.
Breakfast (paid for separately) perhaps a bit on the basic side but nonetheless adequate.
Would I stay here again?  Yes.
Would I recommend it to others?  Yes.

Comfortable stay

On arrival you are greeted with the friendliest, warmest welcome you could ever wish for. Laura and Kevin will bend over backwards to give you the best possible stay, going the extra mile is their normal.  The hotel is spotlessly clean, the breakfast is excellent and spending the evening in the lounge is a must they are sooo friendly.  We arrived as guests and left as firm friends. Can't wait to visit again next year 

What a brilliant place to stay

Family run Guest House with amazing views.
Laura & Kevin are extremely welcoming & can’t do enough for you.
Friendly bar, good breakfast, well appointed room, even the small ones are big enough. 
Easy bus into Newquay or a lovely walk across the cliffs. 
Love it there. We will return.

Clean& friendly

I had a wonderful 3 night stay at this family run guest house. Nice room, lovely communal areas to relax in as well as a bar. Parking on site and friendly hosts. Highly recommend. Would definitely return.

Brilliant

Have just returned from a very comfortable 6 night stay at the Kenton. I cannot recommend the Kenton more highly. It is spotlessly clean (unlike some larger hotels we have stayed in). 

You can expect a very warm & friendly stay with both Laura & Kevin who make you feel exceptionally welcome - we spent great nights in the bar chatting and laughing lots; they truly are fantastic hosts. Breakfast was good & the views from our room (15) were fabulous. The hotel is on a hilly road which provides a good workout if you want to walk into Newquay- about 35 mins. 

If visiting Cornwall this is a very comfortable base and very good value for money and we would definitely return if ever visiting Cornwall again

Great value for money

Amazing time away great owners made very good friends roll on next year 😁 even through covid cleaning was spot on didn't feel unsafe at any stage of our stay room was 110% worth every penny we payed..

Amazing

Thoroughly enjoyed a 3 night stay here over New Years' Eve 2020. Fabulous breakfasts and genuinely lovely hosts who made me feel extremely welcome and safe. Amazing sea view from my room 6 was an added and unexpected bonus. Lovely coastal walks and a great location. Wouldn't hesitate to come back thanks😀

Excellent location, lovely people and a really good nights' sleep

Had a weekend away 1st bank holiday of may 2019 . We booked the Kenton as it was out of Newquay and awAy from the daily hustle and bussle. Kenton hotel ! What can I say they couldn’t have been more accommodating clean well presented rooms and friendly staff. We will be booking the Kenton again that’s for sure. Well done Kenton

Holiday

Large hotel on main road looking over Porth Beach Newquay, good accommodation, we stayed in a small bedroom but owners apologised for putting us there but it  was the only room available when we booked, it was fine, bed very comfortable, had great night's sleep, both nights. Family run and so friendly. We did not book  breakfast but from what I saw they looked very good, plenty of it and quality looked good. would certainly re-visit.

Two night stop prior to weeks holiday in Padstow

Very clean, comfortable and very friendly. Most helpful with everything. View was great from the top floor bay windowed room. Breakfast was lovely, just the right amount. It was like visiting friends, could sit and have a good talk and a laugh with the owners and other guests. 
We will be coming back next year.
