We had a lovely time we stayed in one of the little cottages which had three bedrooms that allow dogs made us very welcome dog bowls, dog treats, and the place was just perfect. I would reckon anybody to stay in the cottage or in the main hotel. Breakfast was nice, the grounds of magnificent I would go again and again I really enjoyed myself. Hopefully, one day the tea room will be open and go for tea.

Unbelievably good

Wow, what can I say? This hotel was one of the best I've ever stayed in. Absolutely stunning in every way possible. And I'm looking forward to returning one day.

The decor of the rooms is of a very high standard. As for the bathroom,  amazing!
If I had to say anything negative is that I felt the quilt could have done with been a thicker heavier tog, but that is my only criticism.  They provided a portable  electric radiator,  so that was suffice to keep me warm. The joys of being single!

Absolutely stunning Lady Hamilton Double room

Attentive and helpful on the on the phone prior to visiting, comfortable, cosy, beautiful setting for a pre breakfast stroll. Very helpful at breakfast around dietary requirements, could have done with a bit more certainty around cooked breakfast items, but answered all questions with care and offered to get more/ other bits. Was beautiful in very early spring, can imagine it being even more special during the sunnier months. Didn’t get to use all the indoor seating areas due to time, but all looked incredibly inviting. Will definitely bear in mind for future visits.

Perfect last minute 1 night stay on route

Just returned from a lovely few days away at Scarborough Hill Inn .
We stayed in room 3 which overlooked the front of the property , had a lovely view of the fields and the sun rise .
The bed was very comfortable , with well decorated rooms looks like it was recently refurbed .
Tea/ coffee making facilities fully stocked everyday and bottled water replenished .
The breakfast was lovely , full buffet style with both hot and cold choices .
Staff friendly and offered visiting options for the area .
Would recommend for a cheeky mini break :)

A little Gem in Norfolk 

Beautiful place, my daughter and I stayed for one night only, immaculately clean, the bed was so comfortable, breakfast fabulous,and staff were lovely. Would definitely stay again. Great location very peaceful.perfect stay for us.

Perfect stay

Beautiful little hotel with lots of character. My room is spacious and decorated beautifully. Sadly no bar open or food in the eveing but only a short drive to North Walsham town centre.
Reception staff were very welcoming and house keeping is outstanding.
Lots of free and available parking.

Great little find 

Fabulous hotel with friendly, helpful staff. Breakfast was excellent and the rooms were superb. Decor was modern and the hotel bed was lovely. Everything was spotless. We stayed two nights and can't wait to book again when in the area. Parking was free.

Brilliant hotel in superb grounds. 

 · Very disappointing room. Room 1 bathroom needs a total make over. There were many faults. Taps didn't turn easily. Light over mirror could not be turned off. Shower rail fixed with red tape but still very poorly fixed. Cramped bathroom. Window in bedroom had broken glass and creepers growing through it into the room. The second window held open with a piece of wood. Hotel in middle of countryside and we were only informed after date when we could have cancelled that they no longer served food on an evening. 

Room 1 needs a complete make over!

Just got back from such a wonderful stay at Scarborough Hill Country Inn. Upon reading the reviews and having an email sent to me telling me there would be no staff around during my stay so the keys would be left on the desk in an envelope and there would be no cooked breakfast offering I was fully prepared for it to be pretty much room only accommodation with very little contact from staff. However I was pleasantly surprised when we went to check in (early in the day just on the off chance the room might be ready) that there was somebody on reception and a cleaner there as well both were very friendly and welcoming explained where everything was and the cleaner even took us to our room (the stables) and showed us where everything was. Couldn’t fault the service it was fantastic! The room itself was beautiful, so clean, cosy and modern. It felt like being at home. They even left a bottle of water and some chocolate in the room for us! The apartment consisted of a large kitchen/lounge, 2 bedrooms and a very modern bathroom. The Wifi was wonderful throughout our stay, we never had any signal problems at all. The views are gorgeous all around and the hotel itself is stunning! Breakfast we was very unsure about as on the piece of paper we were given on check in said again that only a small continental offering would be available. We still decided to go and have a look and if it wasn’t great we would use the sister hotel advertised (Hotel Wroxham), however we were amazed at what was on offer! A full English (buffet style), fresh berries, cereal, granola, muesli, natural yoghurt, fresh fruit salad, toast and they even had smoked salmon! It was the best breakfast I have ever had staying away. It was so tasty! The lady who was on at breakfast time to serve tea and coffee was so pleasant and couldn’t do enough for you. I enjoyed my stay here so much that as soon as I got home that night I booked to return next year for longer! I really hope it’s as great next year as it was this year I’m sure it will be! The only snag we found was we’d booked a Wednesday midweek in the hopes that it wouldn’t be quite as busy as weekends in Cromer albeit still being the summer holidays! What we didn’t realise is this was the biggest day of the year as it was the Cromer carnival and we really struggled to get taxis to take us into Cromer and back again because none of them wanted to drive into the town. So be aware of that if you book on the third Wednesday in August! But that is no fault of the hotel ofcourse just thought I would add that info to be helpful!
All in all a fantastic stay and I would highly recommend!

Fantastic stay

we have just spent a Great family get together, for a 50th wedding anniversary, The staff were suburb, loved the whole ambience of the old house, The rooms were immaculate, I have just one negative point that whoever designed the Shelf in the Bathroom must have been at least 
7ft tall !!!! , It was in such an obscure place high above  the toilet cistern , me being 5ft nothing could not reach any bath products or  to get  the glasses to clean my teeth it was impossible, also shelf design was  totally  inappropriate  as it had a rim all around making it difficult not to catch the glasses, as you had to lift them over this , and make them easily  fall into the toilet , I would say a shelf on the end wall over the bath would have been safer, apart from that it is a lovely place to stay, just be prepared if you have a mobility problem the stairs are rather steep, owing to the age of the house  , but I managed with my walking stick !!!!   And lastly Breakfast was amazing
