What a great quirky hotel this is and for the price of a premier inn or travel lodge but much more interesting and unique location. I had the Oak room with a lovely sofa to relax on with a coffee. Great views of an expansive lawn area. Many old style and tasteful accessories. Breakfast was great and as much as you can eat, Lovely grounds and friendly staff. If I need to stay near Norwich again and the price is right, I wouldn't hesitate to stay again.

An Old Style Quintessential Stay

Spent the day in lovely Norwich. Found Mangreen easily using a satnav. Met by a lady with a sense of humour akin to ours which was good.

Room was fine for us and we had a good night's kip.

Breakfast was good for us too and we checked out feeling very happy with our stay. 

Oh......we did accidentally break a lamp.   Dammitt. LOL. The price sticker was on the base of the lamp as fate would have it so I duly reimbursed the lovely woman with the cost

would we stay here again?   Yes, of course.

great overnight stay

Again, staff couldn’t be more helpful. A fabulous breakfast prepared early especially to meet our needs. Our room was small, but we were aware upfront. Very convenient for the area around Norwich. We’ll be back!

Another friendly welcome, good stay with our dog

Beautiful house set in the countryside. We had a very warm and friendly welcome. The room was lovely with everything we needed and a very comfortable bed. There was a good choice for breakfast and it was very nice, chef was a bit heavy handed with the pepper. I could not get onto the WiFi though. 

Lovely hotel 

We have just had the pleasure of staying at  the Mangreen Country Hotel.
First impression looks a bit quaint.Walk though the big front door and wow great  reception  room .Then we meet our host Katrina ,and to be honest she could not do enough for us.our room was on the first floor ,big with four poster bed ,now the rooms are not modern but fit the ambiance of the hotel , and very well furnished.Our stay came with breakfast which was all freshly cooked, lovely pouch eggs.On site they is a little farm shop and there is also a small swimming pool but you have to book as its very busy.If you are about Norwich for a couple days  i would highly recommend Mangreen Country Hotel .its not even 5 mins from the park and ride which takes all the hassle  from driving into Norwich .Katrina knows all the best places to visit and eat .

Its all about the T

I stayed here with friends, my partner and dog. I absolutely loved the house, so many beautiful historic and original features combined with a touch of modern Artwork. All the furnishings were in keeping with the house and everything was very comfortable.
The grounds had a choice of walking areas through woods and fields, great for the dog! We were welcomed by Tom who was extremely helpful and friendly and all the other staff were great too. 
The minute we arrived it felt so peaceful and homely.
The included breakfast had everything anyone could want and we all really enjoyed ourselves.
We would definitely stay here again for longer!

Lovely Country House.

An excellent guest house. No evening meal but we would recommend the Marsh Harrier pub a couple of miles up the road the Norwich. Our standard room was quite big with a good shower in the en-suite.  Breakfast is very tasty- good quality bacon and sausage… coffee is plentiful.  
Staff were cheerful and helpful.

All you want from this sort of accommodation. Excellent.

Excellent guest house

Lovely hotel.  Great staff.  Super location.  Proper breakfast.  Set in lovely country, yet Norwich is minutes away.  Every room is unique.  Very chilled and relaxing venue.  The grounds are well kept and very attractive

Fantastic

We stayed here last year & enjoyed our time so much we decided to book here again & we're not left disappointed, the whole place was perfect, the  Rooms/Staff/Breakfast/setting are all 1st class, we didn't know until we finished our excellent breakfast that this B&B is run by a voluntary organisation donating all profits to charity, which makes Mangreen even more special & is certainly a unique place to stay, well done John for turning this place to what it has become & Ken who served us for Breakfast a real genuine guy & thanks to the guy who checked us in but didn't catch his name but a perfect check in, once again top marks to the Mangreen 3rd visit for sure.
