Had a Fantastic Golf Break here, 2 lovely courses, nice rooms, good bar and restaurant and staff are so friendly and welcoming 

Whilst on this break I was so impressed I booked again for next year 

Gilly was so helpful arranging next years break

Great golf break

I don't normally bother to leave a review but thought I would as this certainly warrants one !!! Myself and 11 others came for a 2 night 3 round of golf break this being my 3rd time here. As the organiser I shall start with the booking side of things . I booked this break through Gilly as I have done previously and yet again everything was sorted out perfectly with no hassles at all so thanks Gilly it really is a pleasure. In the clubhouse ,pro shop and reception every member of staff were great very polite and helpful.  The food is good and beer prices very reasonable. The 2 golf courses were in great condition as usual and everyone especially the new guys were blown away by them.we stayed in the lodges which are really good for a lads weekend away and I would highly recommend trying to book them. Great golf great value great staff we shall certainly be returning!!!!! Thanks to all at Greetham valley  😊

2023 golf break

I have to commend this venue on many levels. It’s an excellent hotel with very large comfortable accommodation. The golf courses are superbly prepared and maintained. Food of a high quality sufficient for ravenous golfers! Most of all the staff are friendly and welcoming. Unfortunately I managed to injure my back and had to miss out on the third round but all the staff were v sympathetic and helpful where required.  We shall be back !!

First class trip

Wow, Wow. I arranged a 8 ball 2 day weekend at Greetham on a recommendation, I was lucky enough to play the Lakes course earlier in the year which gave me chance to check the place out. Let me tell you I knew we would not be disappointed. From the time of booking Gilly Ward the golf Manager attended to our every need, the hotel is very nice, large rooms and very comfortable, the golf courses were fantastic, two different in every way but loved them. The dinner was extremely nice and well presented and buffet breakfast was very plentiful. The staff were some of the friendliest and most helpful I have ever met. This was our first time at Greetham but for sure it will not be our last. Cant wait to go back. 

Wow what a real gem of a golf resort.

Excellent food and service in nice surroundings  and  the bar staff polite  and attentive to our needs.
Would certainly visit again if we were out this way , handily placed from the A1 heading north, well signed and easy to find.



Stopped for a bar snack

I have been running golf trips for the past 7 years and after some good reviews from other members of our society I decided to take 11 of us to Greetham valley to see what all the fuss was about !! 

Let me tell you this was the best place we have visited so far and will 100% be returning next year !

Golf Trip 

A hotel primarily catering for golf society trips away we were welcomed by a fantastic young receptionist who was very friendly polite efficient and knowledgeable.   That forms a good impression from the minute you walk through the door.   The hotel is modern and our twin room was large and actually the 2 beds were quite a way apart something you don't get very often when the bed has been split to make 2.  That was a great touch.   The bathroom was very functional with plenty of storage space for toiletries etc and a huge bright mirror.   Breakfast the next day was nice nicely 🎁 and constantly topped up.   Again the staff were knowledgeable friendly and efficient.   Overall the breakfast service was run like a well oiled machine and very satisfactory.   There's plenty of parking spaces I'm not a golfer but the greens looked lovely and there were plenty of buggies to get round the courses.   Pleasant stay would stay again.  

Slick outfit 

We visited for one night for a golf break at the end of October and a great time was had by all. 

The communication and organisation before the break was excellent and very straightforward. 

The hotel itself is clean, spacious rooms with good facilities catering for golf groups of all sizes.  

Food and drinks service was excellent with plenty of choice including gluten free options for one of our party. 

The courses were in great condition for the time of year and a challenge for all standards

All in all a super break and a fun couple of days!

Golf Break In October

brilliant experience from the beginning booking with Gilly, torrential rain on the day - phoned us whilst we were travelling to let us know the courses were currently closed, very welcoming at reception and the bar, gave us updates every 30mins until the courses reopened after flooding at 2pm, managed to get out on the valley course- which had already drained unbelievably well. room spacious clean modern, dinner delicious, very reasonable bar prices, could not fault any of the staff - already booked for next year.

From the moment of arrival to departure, this hotel is set up for visitors having a good time and enjoying themselves. Nothing was too much trouble for Jessie (ciao) either in the shop or at check in for the hotel, she was very helpful, friendly and a credit to the hotel. The quality of food served was excellent, bar prices competitive and staff again a credit to the company. A faultless trip, my third and already planning on visiting again in 2023, thank you everyone
